After having toured Thailand for two weeks, Baan Pakgasri was just the getaway, beach side break which we were in need of. Having explore the bustling, craziness of Thailand, Ko Lanta and this little hide away offered absolute tranquility, relaxation and peacefulness. Nice and private, small enough to still feel remote, rooms are well furnished and more than adequate considering... More

We stay at the ban pakgasri hideaway for for 8 nights and although the room was a little dated we throughly enjoyed are time there(we just wished we could of been in one of the two beach front deluxe bungalows)there were a few little problems we had, like the towels in the room a bit dated and there was not much... We stayed 3 nights over the New Year, so the prices were higher than usual (about 60€ per night). On a "low season" the price would feel right I guess, but here, we felt like it was slightly over priced for what you get. The bungalows are a decent size and very clean. Towels look very old though. There is... More

We stayed at Baan Pakgasri Hideaway for 4 nights - the first one on a beachfront bungalow and the others at a back one. The location of the bungalows is wonderful, right on the beach, especial the beachfront ones. They look very pretty from outside and even inside the furniture and equipment os adequate. However, we had rain inside the... More

We stayed for 10 days from 23rd December - 2nd January in one of the beach front deluxe bungalows. From start to finish we enjoyed every second at Baan Pakgasri. The bungalow itself was big, immaculately clean with an enormous comfy bed, lovely furnishings, great air-conditioning, a large fridge, bath robes, toiletries, beach and bathroom towels and a wonderful Jacuzzi... + Perfect Location on the beach, nice bungalow, good breakfast - Relatively low level of English, not always friendly service and customer oriented (rain in the room (ok, can happen) but no cleaning offered and we had to ask for compensation), whirlpool not working properly (not enough electricity ?!), wifi working on/off,

Not greeted or acknowledged on arrival. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean/prepare the room even though we were an hour and a half after check-in start time. I'm not sure if perhaps we indicated at the time of booking that we would arrive later than check-in time, but I don't recall that. There was nowhere cool to... More

On arrival it was not exactly what had been sold to us when booking, but was a fab little resort. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed it! The bungalow was basic but comfortable, but great value for £18 per night. Had no pool or restaurant facilities but could use hotel near by if you wanted to. The beach was... More

I address the title of my review to all the commenters that have given negative reviews of the Baan Pakgasri. OK Hilton it is not, but value for money?; definitely. Bungalows are right on the beach and although theres no restaurant they serve you breakfast in the morning (you have to remember to order what you want the day before)... More
