We stayed here for 6 nights and found it a comfortable experience. The rooms and the entire hostel are clean, the family welcoming and helpful and the location is good as a base for exploring the island and Saladan itself. The price is very competitive for what you get. The only point worth mentioning is that the walls are indeed... More

For a stay in koh Lanta, look no further. We've booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5 because of the lovely couple that run this place and the great quality of rooms they offer. Great value for your money, very cheap and clean fan/arcon rooms. The couple that runs this place are very helpfull with whatever you need.... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Lanta House and it was our favourite place we had stayed in our 2 months of travelling! Firstly it's only a 5 minute walk from Lanta pier and as we arrived by boat had no trouble finding it. The location is perfect, in the middle of town, near to a 7/11, beaches, shopping and... More

We happened across this place and booked for 3 nights but ended up staying much longer. A minute walk from where ferry drops you, it's a clean and friendly guesthouse. The owners and their adorable baby son are lovely. We didn't have any problems with noise from other guests. The owners promote consideration and respect for other guests with reminder... More

They say hostel, but it's more like a homestay, which is, I think, even better, since everyone seems to be more respectful towards each others. You get kitchen facilities all day long (microwave, toaster, utensils, plates and cups), free coffee and tea in te morning, free water. Bicycle rentals are cheaper than places around. The owners (a friendly an lovely... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here over new year. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in koh lanta and this hostel was perfect for us. Price was really cheap, and they had free tea and coffee in the morning, and kitchen facilities that could be used throughout the day, a bonus for travellers who don't want to constantly pay to eat out... Other than the occasional smile from the elderly woman, this place was not friendly at all. It did however have affordable rooms that were clean! Keep in mind it gets mad hot on the higher floors and it could get noisy with people mating next door ( the walls are paper thin ) They are very very strict here with... More

Where in the world do you pay £7 for a room and get free tea, coffee, use of the fridge, crockery and your own little balcony? This place is fab for bargain hunters. The room exceeded expectations as it was a decent size, with great AC and nicely furnished and clean. More money for cocktails!!
