On first site, Pilanta Spa Resort looks like a high quality resort, ut in reallity, here is what it's really like: 1. Stuff don't know one word in English. 2. There are no hot water. When we ask for the hotel to fix it, maintenance man came to the room, looked at the shower and left! 3. The pool isn't... More

We got a fantastic deal for this hotel on agoda.com and with it being off season we practically had the hotel and pool to our selves. The rooms are very comfortable, beds have 4 pillows which is a luxury! Amazing bathrooms with really hot water, whirlpool bath and fantastic power shower. Tv channels a bit limited but not really watched... More

My stay at pilanta was terrible checked in first night ac didn't work and the sink was broken staff switched me to another room the next day. The private pool looked like it had not been cleaned in a year it was filthy, bed sheets did not smell clean and power to the hotel continually keep going out because the... More

I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were a bit dark and old, felt a little dirty, and had a musky smell. The plunge pools are grown over by trees with no sun, and this back garden\plunge pool area isn't a very inviting place to spend time. The rooms had quite a few mosquitos. The power went out and the... More

Not on the beach and a little over built but worth the price. Nice pool and responsive staff. Helpful and friendly front desk and bar help. A short walk to watch sunset on the beach and easy to get to by tuk-tuk or motorbike. Showers were a bit cool and the spa tub was impossible to fill Private pool was... More

Hotel of middleclass, rooms where nice, but need some cleaning. Staff was very nice and help you very good. Breakfast not so special, but there was a very good restaurant in front of the hotel. Only open for dinner. The hotel is 5 min. with scooter to the centrum. A lot of shops, bars, restaurants and markets. The hotel is... More

Was a little wary having read some of the previous reviews, but actually this was ok for the price. We had two rooms for our family. In fairness no one used the private pools as they were quite small although clean enough, and there was more sun on the main pool. We used it as a base but spent most... More

Located a short Tuk Tuk ride away from the ferry and main town. Tucked away from any noise and crowds yet a sort distance to the beach and Saladan town. We got a great deal, under half price and were amazed at the quality and size of the room that we got, a deluxe room. The staff, pool area and... More

I was staying alone for a few nights in January and a little nervous about being alone. However, the staff at Pilanta went above and beyond to make sure that I felt totally safe and happy during my stay. The hotel was clean and beautiful, but it is the staff that really makes this a special place. Every staff member... More

Koh Lanta has miles of beaches, which is why all the best hotels have beachfronts to die for. Pilanta Spa Resort is as if someone came late, with money, bought up a last remaining plot, not on a beach, and built as many rooms as they could. The spa idea is not bad, but it clearly doesn't operate as a... More
