Banana Garden Home is a nice retreat on Ko Lanta for a bit of peace and quiet. We came here after a few nights on Phi Phi island on the direct ferry which is ideal and cheap as chips! We pre-booked Banana Garden via email before we arrived, and they kindly arranged to pick us up from the pier dock... More

Banana garden home is actually moving to a new location soon (Easter 2106), the lease is up on their current place so theyre moving the business to a new property a few hundred metres along the same beach (new place has a pool too !). Great bamboo bungalows with big beds and "rustic" bathrooms with hot showers. Staff are fantastic... More

We were to stay at Banana Beach but were moved to Banana Garden as "Beach" was fully booked for our first night. Once we got to Banana Garden we didnt want to leave (move back to the "Beach" next day) so we ended up spending our entire vacation at Banana Garden. Both resort are owned by the same owner. Banana... More

We decided to stay there because of the many positive reviews. After all, it was ok, but not really a place I would recommend: - Bungalows are worn out (especially ours B7). They will give up the place after this season and move down the bay to a new resort which might explain that there are no more renovations done.... More

I'm a little reluctant to write a review about Banana Garden Home. Not because I didn't liked it, but because I liked it so much... Eventually it will work against everything that's so nice about the place. The Peace and quiet, the authenticity and the sincere warmth of the people. But as progress is inevitable and It's not my intention... More

We came to Banan Garden, because of the good reviews. And we have to say it's even better than expected. Nice bungalows with AC, fridge, hot shower and mosquito net. The staff is super friendly and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Go to Banana Garden home, if you want a great location for your stay on... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Banana Garden Home for a week in January 2014 and then again in 2015 as part of a 3 week holiday around Thailand. We originally booked based on the strength of the Tripadvisor reviews as it matched exactly what we were looking for - cheap 'on the beach' accommodation without the horror stories we... More

Have booked a bungalow at Banana Garden based on the reviews and I must say that our stay has reached expectations. Despite it was not crowded - low season - the staff got totally involved and helpful to make our stay as great as possible. We've even been invited to a post wedding ceremony of the Banana Garden's manager. Nice... More

This has been the best hotel during our whole time in Thailand! We were in the new Banana Garden Resort, not the old one. The personnel were lovely, the rooms clean and spacious, and breakfast we delicious!
