I cannot recommend a visit to the restaurant at Baan Phu Lae enough! The quality of the food is outstanding, the flavours, smells and presentation just gorgeous. The staff are friendly and chilled out, and the setting is only beautiful. We were staying at the resort next door and ate here every morning and evening during our week long stay... More

Reading the reviews, you can quickly understand that the service/staff in Baan Phu Lae are fantastic, providing some of the best food i have had in Thailand. Being somewhat isolated, the cost for food is overpriced and we found that it was easy to spend 60 USD a day without going crazy on drinks (5 USD a beer?). There are... More

We stayed at the Baan Phu Lae after it received great reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome! The bungalows are situated at the end of a stunning beach surrounded by Lantas National Park which is extremely quiet so it felt like we had it to ourselves! Having breakfast on... More

Never have I stayed at a hotel quite like Baan Phulae, the staff are very friendly, and you are Going To come to know them by name in no time. The rooms are a few steps from the beach, to Give you a feeling of being away from civilization. And I must say, that when staying at Phu Lae, You... More

This resort was so lovely that instead of staying for our intended couple of days we extended it to 8 days. It really is hard to leave here, the staff are so friendly, the food excellent, our accomodation was a few steps from the beach (great bed), and the setting is just beautiful. It's a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, lots... More

Overall a marvelous place to relax. The food was outstanding. Service informal, helpful and very friendly. Setting spectacular. The only negative was the accommodation which could do with some internal basic maintenance and TLC. More

We thoroughly loved our stay at this beautiful location! They offer a free transfer to/from the ferry terminal and after arriving just looking at the reception and dining area was enough to relax us! The beach that Baan Phu Lae is on is stunning, it's right on the southern tip of Lanta so is very chilled and sometimes you have... More

I was really desapointed with this hotel. It is clean, and looks nice but it is really overpriced. Allthought it is located at the last south beach in Ko Lanta, and there is nothing more apart 2 other resorts, there is no possibility to get anything else as the producta and service from the bar and restaueant. Drinks and food,... More

We had searched and searched in and around Krabi for a place to enjoy the true Thai island experience -of beach, sun, relaxation, snorkelling, swimming, delicious Thai cooking, fresh fish and seafood, friendly service and clean and inexpensive accommodation -and we struck GOLD with Baan Phu Lae Resort on Koh Lanta Yai. We had stayed on the island 14 years... More

We stayed here for five days and had a great relaxed time. The food is excellent, the staff is helpful. The bungalows are basic but good value for money. The beach is lovely but rocky here and there when the tide is low. However, it's always possible to swim at certain places. Baan Phu Lae is on the southern tip... More
