The room was ok, but maybe a little over priced for what it was. I didn't receive much help when I asked and they always seemed to make it clear that they thought I was going to steal drinks !! At the end of my stay I could not get the zip lock unlocked on my bag so was 10... More

Still one of my favourite places to stay. Been here three times once in 2005 2010 and now in 2014. Every time i come here things have improved. First time there was no second house. The second time there was a second guesthouse and wifi. And now there is great wifi and also air conditioning. Rooms are spacious and have... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. It was very relaxing after Bangkok. They have nice porch with hammocks where you can relax after long day. They also rent bikes for 50 baht a day. Not brand new, but makes getting around the town much easier. Room was very clean, with air-con so made night sleep much more pleasant. Staff was helpful... More

I read All the positive Reviews and Decided to go there. But in reality, i was a bit let Down. The staff that i saw (did not see the old Lady) was not very Friendly nor helpful. They did not organize any tours in low season (i asked and the young male staff said to me:"go ask outside "), nor... More

The hotel is nice, with simple rooms with shared facilities. It's cheap, well located, quiet and the staff is friendly! They helped us to book a room in Bangkok and gave us advice about the places to visit. I definitely recommend this great guesthouse! :)

Feels like staying I a tree house. We turned up and there was a room for a very reasonable price. There's a really nice lake outside with a sitting area. The old lady was nice although she did try quite hard to sell us a Tuk Tuk tour!

First, the staff is the best and most amazing I've ever met travelling. The old lady who works there has the best heart in the world and is the nicest person ever. The place is extremely clean, close to everything, has some bikes for fair prices for rent and has a really nice chilly area in the backyard. If I'm... More

Such nice service. Very relaxing and traditional Thai-like. The owner is very sweet and helpful. There's a garden in the back with a sea. Lots of shadow to hide from the heat. The quality of the rooms is just like you would expect at this price point. They speak decent English.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Baan Lotus. The owner was incredibly sweet and spent a long time with us, chatting, explaining the local attractions and how to get around the city on the bikes we rented from her. The location is great, close to the historical centre (especially by bike), and the guesthouse itself is inside a lush... More

If you want to avoid the noise and din of the traveller/backpacker street head to Baan Lotus GH. Located hardly at a distance of more than 200 meters from the street that has bars/restaurants and other guest houses, you are close enough to the typical backpacker bars and cafes but close but far away from the commotion. The fact that... More
