Apart from the room smelling of the toilet and the absence of a window to the outside but instead in to the corridor and apart from charging 50 baht to use their OWN swimming pool and being charged 50 baht for parking my car and apart from feeling like I was walking on eggshells with the neurotic owner, I had... We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were simple, but nice with air-conditioning and a little balcony overlooking a pond among trees (for 1000B a night). We rented motorbikes from the owner to see the temples in Ayutthaya and when we came back the room had been cleaned, towels replaced. The pool was a refreshing accent after the scorching... More

I arrived at Ayutthaya station by train from Bangkok in the evening, tired and hot, with no reservation. A tuk-tuk driver encouraged me to try the P. U. Inn. I was pleased to find my AC room still had a new feeling from a recent remodeling. The sizable swimming pool was popular with the guests and was long enough to... More

We stayed at the "old" pu inn for 400 bath. The room was very nice and clean and probably the best room we had in Thailand. We payed 50 bath per person for the swimming pool, which is a big plus for the guesthouse. The owner took time to talk to us about Thailand and was very friendly. We had... More

I arrived at 11.45 AM and the staff was sleeping. A backpacker who was sitting outside, showed me a mattress in the lobby of the hostel. I tried to sleep a few hours, around 6.30 am one of the staff members entered the lobby and she excused herself! I was trespassing so I was very pleased she was so friendly.... More

This place is great! The rooms are clean and safe. The place has several security cameras and attentive staff. We stayed at P.U. for 3 nights and everything was wonderful. The owner loved us and was helpful in every way. They nice rooms and a clean pool with lounges and tables. We drank coconut shakes all day by the pool.... More

Someone accessed locked room from dodgy patio out back (one of the sliding doors doesn't lock???) and took cash out of my handbag while I was in the pool (room door in my sight) The location is central, but noisy, with dogs and machines keeping me up all night Definitely will not stay here again, recommended that no-one else gets... The rooms have really comfortable beds and the environment is nice and homey. The location convenient; many people have complained that it is too loud but it is actually down the alley from the pubs. It's not loud at night and we were there on a Saturday night! It is a location where you can bike to many places right... More

We found this place a gem. Quiet. Fantastic value. Clean. Very well managed. Accomodating - laundry, food & drink. Pleasant, professional, kind people even when busy, found the time & politeness to be clear. Refreshing. Not too manic. Full of information. No rip offs. Use of the new pool at the new place for free. Great bikes & motorbikes. Full... More

We stayed for a night just because the place was recommended in the lonely planet (i cannot see how this happened). The new part is very nice, but also extremely expensive (1200 baht for family room) so we ended up staying in a budget room in the older guesthouse. Our room was dirty and dusty, the bedsheets seemed ok though.... More
