My rom was dirty, when paying 3500 thb I expect the room to be clean. No content in minibar. Wifi did not work, but they gave me password knowing it did not work... Breakfast poor with reheated eggs that i guess was some days old.

Why do these 1980 throwback hotels exist? Massive marbled entrance to a labyrinth of outdated rooms. The rooms are very large so hard to get cool from the aircon. The bath (? odd choice for Thailand) was stained, cracked and had plenty of black mould. The shower was falling apart but the toilet worked if you don't mind a manky... More

Despite some of the very negative reviews here, I thought that the place was fine. Wireless didn't work but for the money the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was much like that of any hotel in this category. Although in need of a bit of renovation, the place has rather a nostalgic atmosphere, unlike a boring franchise... More

Granted the rooms are big enough but that's the only plus point at this hotel. Shower head was literally 3 feet above the bath, soap holder broken, mould in the tub and vey tired fixtures. Safe did not work, kitchen area had no plates, utensils or coffee making facilities. WIFI was not working, pool needed painting and had no furniture... More

Big room & that's all. Old & ugly hotel. Pool was dirty &...empty. Staff does not speak English. They keep smiling though. Just stay there one night if you are forced to otherwise go find a proper hotel.

Great view of the river. The room is huge and comfortable. Great value for money. Best buffet especially the boat noodle is the best in town. The hotel also has boat ride for dinner which has a stunning view of the river and temples.

The room was big but very old! Useless kitchen with with no water faucet. The "view"? ok there is a view on the river as it is mentioned by the name of this hotel, but really doesn't worth anything! And the price!!! 2000 THB for one night. I felt stollen when i left. Then, they have men in front of... More

I am writing this review from my hotelroom in this hotel. It is really not a bad place. It is situated on the river in a quiet area, close to some restaurants. If you want to go to the centre, there are Tuk Tuk's available to bring you there. The rooms are large, with everything you need. Good TV reception,... More

This hotel is located by the river so I had spectacular river views from my room. This means that the hotel is about 1 mile away from the centre of the town where the historic sites and the main shopping area are located. It costs about 30 to 50 baht to get to the centre via tuk tuk. The rooms... More

Although, the restaurant at the back is actually quite nice with a lovely view, the hotel itself is very disappointing. When I ask if I could use the safe - because there is one in the room about the size of a fridge- I was told that none of the rooms in the hotel have a safe in working conditions...... More
