Here you can get real low budget rooms. The hotel is located in Naresuan Road just where most of the other hotels are. The owner is not the friendliest one, but if you are friendly then you can get along well with him. All rooms have a shared bathroom which is located right in the central aisle. The rooms are... I stayed there for 2 nights, it was recommended by Rough guide, the owner has a restaurant just 2 houses further up and expect you to eat and drink there, it was more expensive than the other restaurants nearby and the amount and quality of the food was not very good. The place itself has had his best years, it... More

We didn't actually stay in the rooms of this guesthouse because we'd already chosen one down the road, but we have been in ayuttaya for 4 days and almost every morning we have come here for breakfast (pancakes with mixed fruit) and twice for dinner. Every time the food has been lovely and the staff even nicer. It is run... More

Just spend 3 nights here. It's a nice small guest house with a very friendly owner that will help you in any way he can. I spend 350 baht for a room with shower and toilet included. There are also shared bathrooms and toilets depending on what you pay. If you are a backpacker this is a very nice place... More

this is more of a backpackers' accommodation. very simple and basic. stayed in a fan-room with shared bath during off-season. the price was super cheap and there were hardly any boarders around. they've electronic locks at the main gate; so can come in and go out conveniently. even had wi-fi!!!

We stayed here when we were intending to view PU inn next door and were approached by the owner about his hotel. He didn't make it clear that his room was the Ayuttaya Guesthouse at first as we had assumed he worked at PU. Instead, he showed us print outs of bad tripadvisor reviews for PU to dissuade us from... We made the mistake of arriving in Ayutthaya without a hotel reservation - don't do this! All of our three top choices were full, and subsequently we landed here at the Ayutthaya Guesthouse. Fortunately, the place was completely empty and I chose the best room in the place (downstairs room with green walls and an air conditioner). The best way... More

I stayed in a fan room with shared bath and the bed was awful. There was a giant metal bar in the middle without enough mattress so it became a hill and two valleys. The fan in the room was very dirty. I overheard a conversation between a couple that stayed downstairs and the boss over worms being in the... More

Rooms are clean enough. But there is no blanket provided with the room. The toilets are not the best I have seen and the ceiling in that area is covered with spider webs. The lobby furnished with worn furniture giving the place a really aged feel. In short I would not recommend this place to people I know.

We arrived by train late at night and both guesthouses we had researched online prior to our visit were booked. We were walking around and got approached by one of the managers who showed us to a room. The first room he showed us had an en suite bathroom but no door to the toilet. I quickly told him to...
