A good time of year to visit Ayutthaya for those who abhor crowds, although the floating market was bedlam on a Sunday. The hotel was generally clean and had nice tiling. I would have given 5 stars had a lift not been without lighting and our washroom drain on the shower side not been blocked. Hurriedly dropped on the floor... More

There seem to be two types of rooms in this hotel. The more expensive ones which are in the main hotel itself and therefore have a lift or the cheaper ones in the parking lot behind with steps to climb up. This place will cost you a lot more than the so called guest-houses they have which are not so... More

Paid B1,000 for one night, got one of the backrooms looking onto all I can describe as other buildings. No real view. The room was ok, however the furniture was a bit old and the bathroom, although clean could be upgraded a bit. Breakfast is included in the price, it was also not too bad, a buffet! Most Thai hotels... More

We were traveling in our vehicle from Hua Hin to Udon Thani and decided to make a stop in Ayutthaya. I booked this online for about 1,100 baht so wasn’t expecting the world at that price, but having stayed in other hotels in this city and know the prices in the area are not a lot so was expecting more... I stayed here for 6 nights as part of an induction course to Thailand. The beds were nice, very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. There was great service, good value for money and it was nice to have a pool to relax in! Not very busy while I was there so a group of us got the pool... More

I stayed for 2 nights and if I had booked for longer I would have moved. There was a nest of spiders in my pillowcase and it was all down hill from there really! There is a reasonable pool but sadly no facilities for sitting or lounging around it. You cannot get a drink or snack anywhere near the pool... More

I stayed at the Ayothaya Hotel in November 2013 for a short 2 night break from Bangkok. Check in was OK but a little slow, rooms allocated were as booked. Room is not huge but adequate for 2 people on a short stay, bedroom and bathroom were both clean and tidy although a little faded and in need of refurbishment.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our bathroom smelled so bad you could not breath in it and pieces of the wall seemed to be falling off. An okay pool and service where the only positives from this hotel. It looks like this may have been a fairly good hotel 20 years ago but now operating with a minimal budget.... More

Very bad impression from the lobby and the check-in, but it became terrible when we opened the door to our room. It smelt terrible, and you could see the moisture stains on the bed sheets. Several pieces of equipment broken, the room was dirty. It is clearly overpriced, and I would never go back there even if it was for... More

Staying in Ayutthaya for 3 nights, all that was available to us was this hotel, and for 950 baht a night (300 more than we'd been paying elsewhere) we had good expectations. It did not live up to these expectations. Free WiFi was advertised when we booked, and then on check in told we had to pay (only 100 baht... More
