Nice view of Wat Mahathat just opposite! This guesthouse is run by owner couple and their service is immaculate. You will be greeted with a bottle of ice cold water when you arrive and a tourist map, plus a hand drawn map of the location of the guesthouse and all the iconic places to visit. Room is clean and smells... More

we booked our stay at the Tamarind Guest House based on the reviews that we read on Tripadvisor and basically all the good things that we read are absolutely truth... The house, the staff, the complementary cookies, coffee and bananas, the location, everything is amazing... When we arrived to the guest house they received us with cold, gave us a... More

A fantastic hotel. It feels like you are staying in someone's home at the Tamarind. We were greeted with a cool drink and we made very welcome, the staff had kept some bananas to one side for us as well. The hotel is in a great location right near Wat Mahathat and the night market. The room was tidy and... More

This hotel is just adorable, the staff are great, so helpful. But the place is just great its so cute individual knockers on the door, outdoor chill out area, tea coffee at anytime. I have to say aswell for a wooden building it is so clean the staff do a great job. This a unique hotel in a great location... More

This adorable little guesthouse is located in the heart of Ayutthaya, with views of the major temples just outside. Nestled in a little side alley, it is remarkable and quiet. The staff are just wonderful--friendly, polite, hospitable. The rooms are extremely clean and very well-appointed, considering the very reasonable prices. Great free wifi, air conditioned rooms, complimentary water, bike rentals... More

iust came back from there for a short tourism visit in Ayutthaya, hotelier myself since decades now, I can just say that: it is simply excellent and great. Location cannot be better, almost in front of one of the most popular temples to visit in Ayutthaya. My room (101) was spacious, very clean with a good smell, bed is comfy... More

This is a very quirky place with a very rustic feel. The building is all wooden made up from bits and pieces. Don't be put off by that as the room was excellent. Good large bedroom with ensuite; all spotless and clean. The location is excellent for sight seeing. Plenty of places to eat just around the corner. The staff... More

We stayed here 2 nights earlier this week and chose it based on its location for cycling around the temples. It is the best value for money of any place we have stayed on our travels so far! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Always smiling and making you feel welcome! We rented bikes for both days and I... More

Within walking distance of two must see temples and the number one and two best restaurants ranked on tripadvisor. The rooms are clean and big, with nice showers and A/C. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but the cafe up the road is ok!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this guesthouse at the end of June 2014 across from wat mahathat for one night. There were two available rooms when we checked in, one on the ground floor which was slightly cheaper, and one upstairs. Both had good air conditioning. We opted for the cheaper room, and were completely happy. The room is... More
