lovely owners will help with everything and always make you comfortable, just over the road from probably the best ruins in the complex. They provide you with a map for the little local restaurants they recommend and have a lovely balcony to sit on in the evening.

Tamarind's location is just great. Within walking distance of the historical park, the guesthouse doesn't direcly face the main road, but it's placed in a smaller alley instead. Beside the convenient position, I would definitely suggest this place for the kindness of the owners and the quality of the room (bed, bathroom, air-conditioning and cleanness are excellent). I haven't tried... More

We stayed for two nights as a family of four in two rooms. Staff were so friendly and played with our kids. Rooms were quite retro in design. Loved location, the washing machine with area to dry clothes and staff. Didn't like mosquitoes or v loud banging noise rain made during night as it thudded onto roof making for a... More

We stayed hear for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is great and just a minutes walk to dine of the best historic sights. There is no breakfast but the coffee shop next door is great and not too expensive. The rooms were spotless and the one we had was very spacious and included AC, an in room... More

This guesthouse scammed us because they knew they’d never see us again and we couldn’t contact them once we realised, since there’s no email address online. We booked the "1st class" bus service to Sukhothai with them. They mislead us into thinking we were buying the 600 Baht 1st class service that takes 4-5 hours. Instead, a tuk tuk driver... More

We stayed at this guesthouse for one night and enjoyed it very much - the location is amazing (right across the street from the historical park), the hotel and rooms are charming and the staff is nice. Cannot recommend this place enough - fantastic value for the money!!

The hotel is located in a quiet alley, just accross the street from the historical park. The room is clean with a private bathroom. The staff was very nice. Also there is a night market not far with a lot of street food carts (looked delicious, too bad we ate elsewhere before). For the price we definitely recommend it.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the owners who got us quickly sorted out as we arrived around midnight having gotten off from a long bus ride from Sukhothai and both of us were really exhausted. This is a lovely guesthouse tucked away in the corner off the main street. I would like to stress that... More

like another reviewer, i don't quite understand what's the rave about this place. we stayed a night, pre-booked requested for twin room. lady at the counter was honest enough to say she can't let us have one, cause we are only staying a night, and something about not worth changing two bed sheets for a night stay. well i could... We went to tamarind but unfortunately it was fully booked. They have another guest house less than 10min far away by walk and as far to go to wat mahathat and wat phra ram. It is a new one, the just open it 2 months ago. The owner is REALLY friendly and drove us to that place just to have... More
