Beautiful house and furniture, but limited comfort in the room: little space to put your clothes, poor shower (hardly water) , no wifi connection in the room - poor quality to the price we paid. The hotel is quite close to Wat Chai Wathanaram.

Nice good basic place to stay... a very clean room and bath, screens, air conditioning, hot water, nicely decorated, nice garden area, secure, ---- all in all.. a very nice and pleasant stay -- I have stayed here several times on past trips to Auutthaya --- family owned -- the family can make arrangements for tuk tuk drivers to see... The teak Thai house is in front, but I stayed in back. Large, clean rooms with secure locks provided. The house is beautiful, even if you are not staying in the house the downstairs open plan it is very nicely furnished and provides a pleasant atmosphere. The front gardens are well tended and also provide a lot of nooks. Across... More

This was my 2nd visit to Ayutayah to see some of the ancient sites I missed 'pre 2011 flood'. I turned my back this time on the truly awful large 'concrete block hotels' & decided on a home stay instead. My expectations were set accordingly, in line with the price paid. The house & well tended & watered exotic gardens... More

This review only applies to the higher end/more expensive rooms at Baifern. The positives: The grounds, dining and lounge areas are very attractive. The people who run it seem nice and friendly. The negatives: The location may not be the handiest, depending on whether you want to walk or drive/shuttle to certain sites. There is a 24 hour gas pump... More

For the price of £5 for the night (agoda) we managed to get a lovely spacious room, double bed, fridge and our own bathroom which isn't common for cheap guest houses in Thailand. We thought the lounge area was lovely as it is full of beautifully made wooden furniture and the staff are very friendly and its nice and cool,... More

We have mixed feelings about this guest house and we did only stay for one night. We were welcomed by really friendly people, they were so so nice and helpful. The main house where the loung is lovely and really nice just to relax in. The location was excellant. We also ate and had their homecooked food which was lovely... More

Don't know if it was just my bad luck, but didn't have a good stay at all. I was welcomed be very friendly staff and an awesome looking common area, but also by a room with no bed (only a mattress on the ground), a broken sink tap, no hot water and a blocked drain. At least it was clean,... More

I stayed here three nights. The first two i was more than happy, the son and daughter were ever so helpful and always cheerful. The food is a little pricey but really fresh, tasty and clean. The room had a very thin curtain that didn't allow for much privacy, there were a few bugs in it, the fan was noisy... More
