The Pludhaya Resort is owned by the owner of the surrounding rice fields who employs a lovely family to run it. The staff were extreme nice, friendly and very accommodating. This is a very small boutique hotel, a cluster of 9 guest houses and therefore very quiet. 6 of the Thai style houses are on stilts and face a large... More

We had a great stay here, friendly, family like staff who were really helpful and honestly lovely. The food was tasty but limited as were the eating hours. It's a small hotel. It's not modern swanky, it's more arty hippy, but all very comfortable and tastefully done.

I never usually leave reviews but Pludhaya Resort & Spa is an unbelievable place. It is everything you can ask for; peaceful, great views, very clean, and everyone there are very attentive and meticulous in providing you with the best. They provide traditional Thai and western breakfast (the sticky rice with pork is definitely a must). This charming resort will... More

The Resort has been recently remodeled and is very beautiful which includes the Cottages, Pool, Restaurant, and Spa. The quiet atmosphere is a plus for business meetings. I have discovered, remote accommodations away from the busy life within a major city, sets the stage for productive Business meetings. This resort is a perfect place for those meetings and a family... More

We stayed at Pludhaya to recover from two weeks travelling in Vietnam and Cambodia and to recharge our batteries before the long flight home. It is a charming and very intimate place with accommodation for fewer than 20 people in individual, beautifully decorated Thai style chalets around a lake plus a couple on the riverside. It is as other reviewers... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a bicycle tour of central Thailand. I don't understand the negative reviews that other have written here. We found the staff to be very warm, friendly, and helpful. The location is also lovely, the spa services were great, and the meals were tasty. It is true that the hotel is located... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The location isn't in the centre of town, but that is part of the charm. The outstanding service is what impressed us the most. Someone even came with a torch to take us back to our room after dinner (which was perhaps not needed but a lovely touch)! The manager was fantastic... More

This place is miles from Ayutthaya or any other attractions or restaurants, and tuk tuks to town cost 150 Baht (about $US6 each way). We booked for three days, but left after two as my travelling companion got food poisoning, so had to get to a hospital in Bangkok (we managed to get a refund, thanks to Booking.Com flexing some... We arrived a little after the floods had subsided. Quite honestly the resort was opened a few days too early.....another week to complete the necessary refurbishment was necessary. That said the resort is quite beautiful. Small and intimate, without overlooking other villas. The room was clean, well presented and exceptional when compared to other hotels in Thailand. Food was al... More

There needs to be something special to attract tourists out of the town but our experience wasn't special. I did not receive a reply to my internet booking request (they promise 24 hour response but I'm still waiting) so I had to telephone, on the day, to check if accommodation was available, they dealt with my 'phone call efficiently but...
