The food is good ( breakfast, lunch or dinner) the staff are kind, the pool is clean & big, the Thai massage was the best we had ....what more do you want!! Bicycles are available to go into... So sad our itinerary only allowed us one night at this property. As other reviews have mentioned, this is an absolutely charming oasis a short tuk tuk ride away (80 baht) from downtown Ayutthaya. The rooms are clean and spacious with wonderfully powerful AC. The grounds are lovely with a small lake, pool, spa, and traditionally looking Thai buildings. The... More

Unfortunately due to our itinerary we stayed here one night only but it was real pleasure. This property is little heaven and it is managed so well. They have beautiful pool, small spa (with great massage) and it is one of rare places where staff is smiling and you can see why this country have "land of smile " logo.... More

We loved our stay at this cozy guest house. The pros is that the staff is very friendly and dedicated. The hotel is held by two sisters who kiss the children. The downside is that it's a bit far from the main ruins and requires a taxi each time in/out

I can't believe some people have found things to complain about. We chose to return as it is so good: Good value Good location Comfortable rooms (Asian beds can be harder than European) Helpful, attentive, English speaking staff Good food at good prices. Don't miss! N Brown

After a long day and two flights, we chose Ayutthaya as an alternative to Bangkok. We took a taxi from BKK (very easy to arrange from the desk just outside the terminal on the ground floor of the airport - they agree the price before you set off). About two hours and approx £30 I think Although the hotel is... More

I booked 4 nights at Baan Thai House and got very helpful replies from Leena to all my enquiries. I knew that the main temples were some distance from the hotel but they were able to arrange Tuk Tuks for just 80 Baht to most sites (though getting back needed a bit more negotiation). You can easily walk to the... More

We stayed in the Baan Thai House two nights. We were suprised that the hotel is by far not so great as mentioned here on tripadvisor. What is true is the nice garden with the small lake that looks very nice and is well maintained. In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are quite basic... More

After three days of Bangkok drove (withe the minibus, very easy) to Ayutthaya. This place is perfect to relax, enjoy the silence and breads some fresh air. The old town is nice to visit the temples. The friendly stuff is helping for any kind of organisation. The garden houses are without luxus, but clean and nice. The pool is huge... More

This is the kind of hotel you envision when you dream of Thailand. Traditional architecture matched with modern amenities. Thoughtful design. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Food was good. Pool was perfect for cooling off after visiting the sites. Room was comfortable and had everything one would need. Just a perfect place to say if you're visiting Ayutthaya.
