We slept in a traditional wooden room above the reception which was absolutely amazing. Beautiful wooden accents, wonderful beds, and a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and so were the dinners. The swimming pool area and the resort itself is beautiful and makes you feel completely relaxed. Service of the personnel is also very good. For example, our night train... More

What a perfect place to stay in Ayuthaya this is! Beautiful garden and very relaxed atmosphere, perfect pool to cool down from the visits to the beautiful temple sites, very welcoming and friendly (genuine) sisters owning this family run place as well as their staff... And very helpful for everything you need. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I would... More

We came here from Bangkok via taxi for a quiet weekend. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our rooms. We had 2 garden view rooms which were lovely. Our hosts suggested doing the 2 hour temple tour by boat, which we did the following day. A tuk tuk will pick you up from Baan Thai. Well worth... More

Such eye for detail. Everywhere you look at this lovely hotel, you can see the love Leena has put into it. We've stayed here for several days and even on the last day we've discovered new details. Because we've stayed here with our family, we've seen all the rooms they rent out. Although all of them are really nice, we... More

This is a great place to stay in Ayutthaya. Having arrived from Bangkok we thought we'd found ourselves in paradise. The ground of the homestay are gorgeous and idylic set across beautiful greenery and a small lake. We stayed in the garden villa which was lovely and private. Although it is set outside the old city the staff were great... More

The Baan Thai House is a nice place to stay instead out of the city center location. No matter,at the hotel is possible to rent a bike for free, but you still need about 20-30min to get into the city center. Everything is nice, but the brekfast and the dinner should be improved. They dont offer much...

We stayed upstairs in a lovely Thai room. More thai style than the rooms by the lake. As long as you dont mind stepping over the step to get in, lovely stay. Great staff too. Its walking distance of the train station, its clearly signposted but if you dont want to walk as its hot, then a tuk tuk is... More

The hotel complex is lovely with gorgeous (semi-) detached bungalows dotted around a garden next to a small pond. The hotel also offers a nice pool. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and willing to arrange tuk tuk rides, bus tickets etc. They also offer free bicycle rentals for guests. Baan Thai House is definitely worth a visit.

As the price was quite low were not expecting this kind of resort. It was absolutely beautiful, with big, modern, fresh rooms/houses. The whole are is a big garden, with a pond and swimming pool. Great place for everyone, but I think that especially families will be pleased with this choice as it's more quite. Even though the hotel is close... More

We stayed here with our two children aged 11 and 9. It was absolutely no problem to set up extra beds for them both. Rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated with simple Thai artwork. There are mosquito screens on all the windows in the bathroom. Aircon worked a treat. The food is also lovely. Breakfast was comprehensive and we... More
