Only had 1 night. Room clean, pool nice. Surroundings not so good outside. Breakfast was very good, waitress service. Check in & out was quick. Small car park. Tuk tuk easy to get to everywhere when needed

Overall Okay for a quick 1 night in and out stay. Would recommend for a longer term visit. Positives 1. View - on the river, so nice rear area view of passing boats and palace on the other side. Negatives 1. Restaurant - small, limited menu and average service. Really more of a Coffee Shop. 2. Staff - virtually spoke... More

We were set up in the Iudia by our travel agent. We had asked for rooms in the Shangra La price range. Instead got the Iudia. Read a lot of reviews that rate the place highly so the only thing I can figure is the expectations of those travelers were so much lower than mine! The rooms we were in... More

In earlier reviews, I have deplored the recent trend to splash some unusual colour scheme on an average property and call it a boutique hotel. The Iudia, however, with its tastefully decorated rooms, a lush garden and pool area and attentive service fully deserves that label. Yes, it is a little out of town and you need transport, but it... First stop on my annual visit to Thailand. Quiet location with everything the average traveller needs. Small reception and coffee shop/breakfast area leading to pool outside, next to the river. River View Terrace was a very big room and bathroom, but little space to hang clothes. Breakfast was a choice from a small selection of Thai and American menu, and... More

We stayed here for two nights, the hotel is in a decent location for the sights but you need a tuk tuk if you want to go anywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the view at the rear of the hotel is amazing. Our only gripe be it small is the room we stayed in was shabby... More

While liking the hotel, we were not as impressed as some of the previous reviewers. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice boutique hotel for a stay in Ayutthaya. Our room was upstairs overlooking the pool and the further view to the river and temple on the other side. We got great pleasure from watching the river traffic and... More

Loved it! The hotel is small (8 rooms) but has lovely grounds and nice, clean pool and spectacular temple directly across the river. They helped us book tours - a tuk-tuk tour to the major temples for 150 THB per hour and a river cruise around the island - but our favourite experience was riding our bikes in the park... More

This is a small boutique hotel (only about 8 rooms) right on the river with beautiful views across the water of the temple on the other side. The pool has this view as do some of the rooms. We had booked a river view room but had the good fortune to be upgraded to the suite (there is only one).... More

After you get throught the front door and away from the busy road outside, this hotel is fabulous ! Our room was on the ground floor and we had our own sitting out area before we went through the bedroom door. Room was large and airy and superb bathroom. Not enough hanging space for clothes. The gardens and pool area... More
