A lovely place in an ugly, boring city. Rooms are not special but ok, very nice garden and awesome people. "crazy grandma" is one of the cutest persons I ever met. I would come back, but only because of the familiy.

This guesthouse is very attractive from the outside with a nice garden area to eat and drink..but for 600 baht a night The room are so so, no fridge, no tv, no bottled water, the shower is terrible, the bed is ok and the Wi-Fi works. Located on the busy main road means a lot of traffic noise.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the first night they were clearly full but wanted the extra money so put us in the massage room which was very uncomfortable. The next night we had a room in the house but it was run down and dirty, the bed sheets didn't look clean and the bathroom had old bars of soap... More

It's a good location and a nice setting with the bar and the old temple just next door. We had a good stay but shame about the first night, they over booked and put us in the massage room which the mattresses were like a rock, the room the second night was better but probably the least done up out... Moradok Thai is a lovely little guesthouse that we loved staying in for one night when we toured Northern Thailand. Located right next to the historical ruins, it makes for a fun day out riding a bicycle and then returning to the welcoming Moradok for dinner. Our twin room was comfortable and the attached bathroom worked well. The beds and... More

We stopped over for 2 nights whilst travelling north to chiang mai. The staff were helpful and friendly and we loved our charismatic host. They kindly dropped us at a COMPLETELY than restaurant lol and the food was amazing. Afterwards we shared drinks at the guesthouse newly crafted bar and sampled snapper spicy soup which was delicious. A lot of... More

We had a very good 3 nights-stay! After an eccentric welcome (thank you, crazy grand-ma!), we didn't know what to expect. Rooms are OK (AC, beds ok), breakfast is nice, they serve beers at evening and in Nov 2013, they were about to have a live band playing at the bar. They also rent bicycle (60 baths/day) and the location... More

I stayed here last summer but i thought it deserves a review after all this time. My gf and i were travelling thailand and asia at the time and we stayed in this guesthouse. Samsee the owner is sooo nice! Really good fun and really tries to get everybody to have the craic. The chang was flowing and so was... More

My boyfriend and I intended to stay in Ayutthaya just one night but ended up at Moradok Thai for 3. The guesthouse is run mainly by family, Somsee (the old lady) is very friendly and helpful. It's located in a convenient part of the island and the rooms are of a decent size (however be prepared for very stiff beds!)... More
