You couldn't tell on arrival how noisy this place gets at night. Sleep is almost impossible, you feel like you are trying to sleep on the street. And the street is lined with bars, but that does not become apparent until nighttime when the rollershutters go up and the music is turned on - relentlessly. Because it is built from... More

Rooms are really cheap but not worth it. You can hear everything in the room. From your neighbours to the bars across the street. The sound of the music is so loud that we couldn t sleep and need to move the next day. Its a fancy place but not recommended for those who like to rest at night

Room was nice and big and of an interesting style (as was the rest of the building). As per other reviews there was not a lot of furniture to put stuff, but we did have a spare bed, which came in helpful to dump stuff. Location is very good on the tourist strip, opposite some good bars, 15-20 minute walk... More

Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and pool which saved us from the melting heat...all for a cheap price. A nice retreat from Bangkok. However we did have a problem with bugs in the bed in a budget room, but the staff were great and quickly relocated us to a better room with air con.

We were taking public transportation from Erawan-Kanchanaburi-Suphanburi-Ayutthaya. And as we left Erawan on the 1400hrs bus, left Kanchanaburi on the 1530hrs bus and had just enough time to get on the last minivan to Ayutthaya at 1755hrs, we were knackered. The check-in was swift. Pretty good. The restaurant downstairs was lively with lots of customers, and a guy was having... More

We visited Tony's Place last November 2014 for our American and Thai friends wedding. The place and staff is nice. They are one of the nicest people I have met in Thailand. We got a very clean room, cozy and the interior design is catchy. Very recommendable for a group of friends who wants to have a short visit in... More

It served us adequately. We were on very top floor of 3. No elevators. Room is nothing to boast about. Walls are thin. Wooden panel windows open up to a big hallway that other rooms are on. Few furniture items and they were old. Old tv but it worked. Fair-space shower-bathroom. Really not a place to lay out clothes. I... More

This hotel is a mistery to me. Rooms are equipped in lots of unnecesarry stuff, like some sculptures or paintings, but lack good aircondition or wi-fi or even a proper door lock. Why are they so selective in details? The neighbourhood is filled with expensive tourists-only restaurants and it's quite far from the old city. The pool is a joke... More

On the spur of the moment, a travel friend and I decided to do an overnight getaway to Ayutthaya and view some temples and elephants. I had been to Tony's last year and liked it so I suggested to go again and we were glad we did. The building is old Thai teak style with some modifying and they have... More

We spent two nights here in a private en-suite double bedroom, room was good, clean but old and pretty dark but at THB300 at night you can't complain. Common area (restaurant, bar, swimming pool) was great with good food, cheap beers and fantastic fruit shakes, loads of fans and a couple of sofa and free fast wifi. Staff is extremely... More
