This was the second time I visited Tony's place and I really like it. The AC rooms are absolutely gorgeous, the staff is really friendly and the place is just covered with a very nice atmosphere. And they were extending the swimming pool when I was there, so that should be finished by now!!

The first impression of Tony's place is very good. The restaurant and bar look very nice and cosy. We've booked a room with AC because the place looked great. However, our room was across the street (so not in the beautiful wooden building) in a dark, run-down building. When showering, the electricity went out each time. The thing you put... More

A friendly guesthouse with good facilities. It's a good location for getting to/from train station. Hire bikes from the place opposite, they had lots of choice. Good food but not the best you'll find in Ayutthaya - go to the night market instead. There is currently work being done on the pool so expect some light construction noise during the... More

We had a 300 baht fan room with on-suite bathroom. The room itself was fine, even though it lacked a mosquito net. The only problem is that the street where it is located is pretty loud (music bars till 1-2 a.m.). Overall it was a fair thing! Recommendation: For low season ok, for hot season a AC is a must-have.... More

We took the 300 fan room with private bathroom... It was horrible!! Everything was dirty, the bathroom was not really separated from the room and you could hear everything from the rooms next door and the restaurant. the mosquito protection behind the windows was full of holes, but it didn't really matter anyway, because the whole walls of the wooden... This was a resonablely price place. We had a room with a fan and bathroom. It was clear and quaint. It was a good place to stay as you didn't have to go far for an evening drink or a meal. However, I ordered the thai spaghetti and it was covered in pools of oil. I had to trip my... More

This place seemed a little expensive for what it offered. The hotel itself is stunning- the restaurant sits on a huge wood deck, with stairs that lead up to huge rooms. While our room was beautiful, the bathroom did not have hot water. We also had rain the night we stayed, and our room leaked. There was no way to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a superior room upstairs - it was huge! The room was clean and had air con. Tonys is centrally located, with a selection if bars and restaurants very near by and all the main sites are in easy reach. I would recommend a stay here.

I stayed at Tony's Place last Sunday night having come up from Bangkok in preparation to join an activity starting Monday in Ayutthaya. This hostel is very nice - I loved the restaurant and pool area especially. There are many different types of rooms depending on your budget - from shared backpacker style rooms to basic rooms all the way... More

This hostel is a very good option when staying in Ayutthaya. It is centrally located and within walking distance to the temples (15min) or if not you can rent a bike for only 40THB. You also have many places to eat in the area but also in the hostel. There is a 7 eleven or KFC near Tonys Place. The... More
