Tony's looks good from the street, but once you're inside, it all changes. The morning/early afternoon main host is rude, I wonder how he's managed to keep a job in the service industry. I sent the guesthouse an email to see if they had any free standard rooms and he replied that they are first-come, first-serve. When I arrived, he... More

Stayed here with a big group to attend a wedding in town. As with any group of travellers, there will be lots of pros and lots of cons. We took at least 7 rooms on Thursday night and Friday night, and at least 10 rooms on Saturday night. Thursday night was Loi Krathong festival... and the noise and festivities continued... More

We took a fan room which was located across the street from the main building. We were told the wifi wouldn't work, but it did. The room was very basic, just a bed, couch and fan. There was a patio however, which was nice to sit on and use the wifi. The shared bathroom was clean and nice, though the... More

I just spent 3 days there and had a room in the old wooden building (across the street is another building for the backpackers?) and I probably had a luxury room as it had air-conditioning. The building is built of wood in the old Thai style so it is a beautiful building and this adds to the experience. The bar/restaurant... More

Very noisy (music until at least 2am), they should better mention it, because some people might not like it. Staff has a too much money making attitude, not friendly and did not pay much attention to customers. Standing away less than 2 meters ordering loud another cofee -> no reaction. Entering the room, we were told to not adjust the... More

Great place friendly and very helpful staff. Stayed in the main building which was lovely, all decked out in wood. Food was good and the guy on the piano was very talented. Recommend taking the boat tour which can be arranged at the desk, also, hire a bicycle, walking made me far too hot! Just across the road is a... More

This was the second time I visited Tony's place and I really like it. The AC rooms are absolutely gorgeous, the staff is really friendly and the place is just covered with a very nice atmosphere. And they were extending the swimming pool when I was there, so that should be finished by now!!

The first impression of Tony's place is very good. The restaurant and bar look very nice and cosy. We've booked a room with AC because the place looked great. However, our room was across the street (so not in the beautiful wooden building) in a dark, run-down building. When showering, the electricity went out each time. The thing you put... More

A friendly guesthouse with good facilities. It's a good location for getting to/from train station. Hire bikes from the place opposite, they had lots of choice. Good food but not the best you'll find in Ayutthaya - go to the night market instead. There is currently work being done on the pool so expect some light construction noise during the... More
