I have been to this place two time already within six months. First to say the truth, i wasn't very impressed because of the roads leading upto the resort. Then it dawned on me thats the whole charm of this place, its hard to reach but makes up for the experience it gives you in the end. The manager Suresh... More

Possibly we visited kodaikanal at the worst time. Bangalore was cooler. We didn't feel like staying for long in the town but we loved the resort. That's why the review is how it is. This place is a little further away from kodai and staying here will make accessing the main town difficult. The rooms are well designed. More than... More

Beautiful resort with great surrounding. You can take a long walk in the surrounding jungle and completely disconnect with the outer world. The ambience of the rooms is great if you are a nature lover. In-house is very average though!

A few cottages spread over a lovely property in the mountains. Nice furniture and generally good food. We did a 3 hour hike with a guide - you can't go far without one. On the down side a general air of indolence among many of the staff. They should have extra blankets as it's cold at night and for the... More

A brilliant place to stay. Cut off from everything. We stayed in red cedar lodge. Beautiful old lodge with amazing furniture but a bit damp. Sundar was a great manager and managed to answer our few complaints quickly. He was great. A few things lacked in the resort, the rooms could be cleaned daily, extra blankets needed, the stoves in... It's a very big property. Had booked Peninsula room but since we went there on weekday, we were given option of choosing other rooms near to the restaurant. But after looking at the peninsula room, we preferred that itself. It is little far from restaurant but very calm and nice rooms.. if you are kind of person who would like... More

My friends hosted a bachelor-ette party at this resort. This place is just ineffable. We were staying in hilltop suites. Room are very spacious and I'm in love with the bathroom. They have nice porch onlooking the dense forest and the stream.this place is spread across acres. Food is good. But the only shortcoming is the service. Service is damn... More

Elephant Valley is not exactly located at Kodaikanal. If you are driving up to Kodaikanal you have to take a small detour much before you reach Kodai and drive down to reach Ganeshpuram which is where Elephant Valley is located. The biggest advantage of the resort is that it is located over a very large piece of land- you can... More

The place is close to a river in the downs of kodaikanal in the elephant valley. Food was very good as was the hospitality of the workers. Krishnan, Suresh, samy, Thiagu, Suresh.. Stay was comfortable in the rooms close to reception. The other rooms had to walk some rugged path. Better to be in a group of 4 I guess.... More

This place is just wow! As you enter while you check in you get the view of the river that runs across this place - Just beautiful. The rooms/cottages are private enough, well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Food: A special mention to the cream of veg soup and carrot+coriander soup, just awesome and loved their pineapple desert... More
