Pity that this property that is so beautifully located is not maintained like in its past pristine glory. The horses were a delight grazing while we had a cup of tea. Since the keeper was around, we even managed to pet the animals and take a ride on them. Crockery was unique and bearers were polite and helpful.

I arrived in Bundi after a long day travelling and all I wanted was a hot shower and a clean room. I trekked around 4 different places that were dumps and told me hot water no way! Luckily I stumbled across the Taragarh and manager Monti. I stayed there 3 days and it made my trip in Bundi. It was... More

Extremely welcoming staff who cook great food. Fantastic location in the middle of old town near the fort and within walking distance of the market. Comfortable beds in nice rooms with good en suite. Its very well hidden down an alleyway so may be hard to find but def worth a visit

Best place to hang out in Bundi...comfy room, really friendly staff, good food (you can even participate and learn how to cook any food you want) on the rooftop where you get an amazing view on the fort, chilled with other backpackers and the staff, who will do anything to make you enjoy your stay! Highly recommanded!

I stayed here for one week on my own and I have never felt more welcome in my life. The people are so friendly and helpful and try to make every need fulfilled. The rooms are great and the views are superb. I was treated as one of the family by Monti and lavi and the other owners too, although... More

We stayed at the Taragarh Palace in Bundi for a week - very good value, clean, large and spacious rooms, and the staff really couldn't work any harder to make sure we had a great time. They really go out of their way to look after guests, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Monty is a great guy, who... More
