This is not a Haveli, it is a dingy walk up hostel. We booked a 'suite,' we got a tatty little room that was too small even to accomodate an open suitcase. What is more it had a bed that was pressed against a window that ran with condensation, which meant a damp bed. The bathroom had a missing panel... More

A delightful 300 year old property which has been lovingly restored by the owners. Kamal and Jaishree were perfect hosts ensuring our stay was an enjoyable one. The location is ideal, just a five minute walk to the city palace entrance. We ate there each evening with a view of the city palace and fort. Food was good and our... More

This is an example of how a clever photographer and a clever (and unscrupulous) management can dupe internet customers. Better or equivalent quality hotels can be had in the... More

We recently stayed at this charming hotel in Bundi. Be prepared to walk up some steps to a very well appointed room. Bright warm colors freshly painted make a warm welcome. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Food is good with an unbeatable view of the palace and fort. The service is outstanding.

This was our 2nd trip to Rajasthan and this time we avoided the main cities and stayed in small hotels in smaller towns and villages. We heard very good things about Bundi, that you could walk through interesting streets in the old town which is not over run by tourists so we decided to spend 2 nights there. We saw... More

I had a really wonderful experience in this heritage havelli. It contains countless original features and artwork and is positioned up a quiet alley in the centre of the old quarter of Bundi. The rooms are fabulous and you really feel like you are stepping into the past. The rooftop restaurant is well positioned for breakfast (but watch out for... More
