We spent a night here during our tour of India's Golden Triangle and were very impressed by the historical majesty of the place. It was an honour to be welcomed so warmly to such a prestigious hotel. We had room 106 leading directly off the main courtyard which had twin beds (extremely firm mattresses, so be warned !), a luxurious... More

Very nice place to stay , staff is very courteous and always ready to help. Rooms are spacious with very ethnic furniture and feel. The courtyard , pool area are very neat and clean and well maintained. They have a magnificent dinning area which is truly breathtaking. They had other recreational activities as well , with ongoing puppet shows ,... More

As soon as you arrive at the Laxmi Vilas Palace you are taken back in time. There is the old palace (Vilas) and the new palace (nivas) - we stayed in the old palace. The rooms are huge and cool (which is lovely) and we the overlook the square at the bottom where you can sit and relax - the... More

Laxmi Vilas Palace is a grand old property with a lot of charm and luxury. It combines the old world charm with a modern set of facilities and their service is truly exceptional. The staff at the LVP is courteous, friendly and efficient and this is mostly due to the owner of the property who is Royalty and ensures that... More

If you happen to be in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, probably this could be your destination for stay. Well maintained property. however no room service ( being heritage property such properties keep services very low, this saves money on manpower and being a symbol of heritage and limited supply of hotels...) Staff are quite well natured and locally groomed boys. Food menu... More

We stayed for 1 night in this heritage property but it didn't met to our expectation. There is no room service and staff is not at all cooperative. Otherwise ambience and surroundings are good. But the kind of hospitality we got is worst. Breakfast & dinner timings are according to foreigners and staff only said that this hotel is according... More

We stayed for two nights in the old part of the hotel and got an upgrade to a suite. It felt like being guests of a Maharadsha. Everybody from the staff was very friendly and accomodating, one evening we had a small snack and drinks in the courtyard of the old palace. A very quiet and romantice athmosphere. Dining in...
