Frankly speaking, the last thing you would want to spurge on in Amritsar would be the Hotels!! This was a weekend trip and we landed Amritsar at 9:30PM. Our plan was to check in at Hotel Hong Kong (due to the positive feedback on TA), but when we reached Queen's road (its hardly 1-1.5km from Railway station), we would not... More

My friend and I arrived at 5am in amristar and were just looking for somewhere to chill for a couple of hours and have a shower. The guy at the front desk was able to accommodate us at 7am well before check in time. You're given a free water bottle in the room, hot showers, shampoo conditioner, towels. For 1000... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel. as the hotel was empty we could get a good bargain and stayed in the suit. Room / Bathroom / Upholstery was very good. The layout of the hotel is odd though. One big disadvantage is that there is no lift, so senior citizens may find it difficult to climb higher floors.... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days on Oct 2013. The rooms were very good. Situated very near to railway station. Food is awesome especially veg thali. Highly recommended for all travellers. The receptionist helped me with all travel related queries in the city. Pillows are very soft and nice. Bedsheets, towels etc are clean.

Hotel has very spacious rooms and has good service . All type of food (snaks, breakfaast or lunch dinner) is available on demand by roomservice. It ihas a fairly good menu. However the ventilation in the rooms are poor and makes a large bathroom stink . It would have made vast difference with proper ventilation and windows as ACs were not... Great place to stay at excellent prices. AC Double room at Rs. 700/- per night and the room was absolutely fantastic considering the price. Plus good location (about 2km from Golden Temple) and good food also!

The room was a good size and the TV worked, however it was quite dirty and the location was poor. It is walking distance to the train station but too far with luggage down a very busy and dangerous road. Cycle rickshaws to the golden temple cost Rs.20 and it takes about 30 mins door to door. Also the water... More

I came here to Amritsar for for a official trip and my friends arranged accommodation at Basera. When i reached here, it was really wonderful, felt like staying at home. If you are visiting Amrtsar, my suggestion is Basera only.

I stayed in Hotel Basera, Amritsar with my family and i found it very good in all the respect. It is near to railway station as well as near to the city but is at a peaceful location. The rooms are large enough and very clean and service is also very good. The staff is very cooperative.I recommend the people... More
