Nitish the owner of the place is recently arrived and made our stay very relaxing. He is very carefull about his guests. At dew drops you can enjoy resplendicent nature, absolut calm and silence as well as typical homemade tasty food and small talks with Nitish! He can also guide you around the plantation and the waterfall which are good... More

The host, Nitish, is the best thing about this place, and that's saying something, because the place is out of this world. Hidden miles from anywhere in a rainforest setting, Dew Drops is something that can be difficult to find in India - serene. When you wake up in the the morning, it is to birdsong, mist and rainforest. Unlike... More

We only stayed one night but had a lovely time in this charming little place. Our taxi driver was able to stay overnight which was helpful, although they have no WiFi which, if like us you're organising your trip as you go, was not. The owner was very sweet and accommodating (doesn't speak much English). Dinner was hands down the... More

Really nice room with veranda to chill and listen to the sounds of nature. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, possibly the best food so far after 2 months in India. The beetroot dish was a revelation. The cook and cousin Wilson great people as well. On our evening of arrival however the boss Winston wasn't there and left Vincent to... More

We stayed for a total of 3 nights, having had 1 day to relax/walk/go up to munnar & the other day to go 'trekking'.. It's a shame really, but the guy working there was very sneaky & lied. He'd cooked us dinner when we hadn't asked - charging us 300 each, then supposedly organised a full day of 'trekking', with... More

We stayed 3 nights and found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, the food good and the staff very friendly and helpful. this is a very peaceful place to stay especially compared to downtown Munnar. There is no WiFi available and the location is fairly remote and beautiful. Weather can be cool and misty at night among the tall... More

We enjoyed two nights in the very calm and relaxing area. The very nice and open minded manager took us to the Tea plantation and showed us around the area. When I recognized that I have no shoes for the trekking tour, he dropped us on a small market where he went to buy some shoes with me so that... More

Glancy David is the man! Based at Dew Drops, Glancy will take you on an excellent day trek around one of Munnar's tea plantations well off the tourist map, several kilometres north of Munnar. The tour includes a good wander down through the tea plantation, with good conversation including an informative explanation of the process to grow, harvest and process... More
