Stayed for 2 days there in Feb 14, was a nice place, if u have own transport. Also no internet or mobile network as it's far in the fields, so nothing much to do after it gets dark...but a nice view and quite and clean. Staff are nice, esp the cook and maid, very nice food. We didn't like one... More

My nephew Samarth Maney, my sister, my wife. Since both of my daughters are abroad, our younger daughter's friend Sani accompanied us to Munnar. We drove from Bengalooru to Guruvayur temple. After a contended darshan, we reached Munnar around 9pm where sunil waited to receive us near the dam. We were happy to see two spacious rooms where sunil took... More

From the whistling by the Malabar whistling thrush (the bird that whistles) in the morning to the homely dinner at night. Its hard not to fall in love with this place! The rooms are really comfortable and the best part is when you wake up in the morning and look around, you are surrounded by greenery and it gives you... More

Woke up with sound of singing of birds. Well organized. Foods are excellent. On time delivery. Very cooperative. I find this hotel / home stay is one of the best place I stayed so far. Very economical compared to its location. Food is really cheap. Homely atmosphere. Provide conveyance for visiting near by places on payment basis.

Rooms is not clean not worth for money. It is better to avoid this property. It seems there are many good hotels in this price range within munnar town. Further, while checking whether condition, hotel administration had provided misleading information about rain and road condition. Otherwise we would have avoided this trip as we had traveling with 1.5 yrs kit.

The wonderful experience beyond my expectations prompted me to write this review. I visited the rangerwoods homestay on 4th Oct 2014 with my wife and son and stayed there for two nights and a day. I planned this visit almost 20 days in advanced. Initially I struggled a lot to book a hotel in Munnar as the whole world was... More

We stayed there for a couple of days.. The location is a bit far from proper Munnar town but if someone want to spend time husslefree and live in nature's bed then no other place can be better than this. If u want north Indian food or any other variety of food I do not assure you that u will... More

Nice, spacious room, with one window overlooking the forest and cardamom plantation. Hot water ok! You can have dinner there, but it is also nice and not far to go to the restaurant of the tall tree hotel next door. We had a great and not expensive lunch in that hotel.

We settled in ranger woods, 8km outside munnar. For those who wish for peace and quiet surrounded green, thats the place. We were welcome by marry and a welcome tea, what was later proven to be the opening of our 4 days staying in which we got the feeling that all the stuff cares about is our happiness. Very recommended.
