We were planning our 1st trip to Munnar and booked a double bed room at Aida Homestay. The place is bang opposite the bus stand but yet a little away from the city. It is very close to the tea gardens. The rooms were nice and airy, the beds were clean, toilets neat and balconies beautiful. Though the stay was... More

It's the budget places that you really enjoyed! Clean, good service, good price, good location, and the important thing in Munnar, around the best views of tea fields. If you are looking for something cheap, free wifi and near to a the bus station this must be the place in munnar.

Rooms were basic and clean, beds were pretty good. Do not expect too much of the rooms and service. The place is about 2 km from town, but you can easily get a rickshaw for 30 or 40 roepies. We had great tourist advice at JJ Cottage, juist allround the corner of Aida Homestay.

Pros *Perfect place for people who wants to get out of Hustle-Bustle *Compact and Cozy *Clean Place *Friendly hosts, Good Hospitality Cons *Views restricted to certain rooms *No Parking Facility *Entrance is little bit risky and inaccessible PS: There is a tiny little place called "The Deli" pastery shop. Do make a stop there.

Nice owners, but difficult to reach since they seem to be always in the back in their own rooms. Found a cockroach in the bathroom and didn't have hot water (which was promised). The bed is very comfortable and a TV with Indian channels. Nice balconies with hammocks attached to the more expensive rooms. A little bit away from the... More

Even if it is a bit outside of the city (rikshaw ride costs 30rp), the place is conviently located in a calm but not desert place. Staff is very helpfull (knos all bus schedules of Kerala). Wifi works well, and the hotel as nice common.

We enjoyed 2 nights at this homestay. The rooms at the front are better than the rooms at the rear of the hotel. We had a good veiw of the mountains and tea plantations (as well as the rooftops of the hotels in front of ours!). It is situated just far enough away from the main town, but a short... More

I have a mixed experience about this homestay. Let me start with likes. Good room, neat and clean, very near to KSRTC bus stand, good view form the balcony. They have a small beautiful garden, with place to sit out and a big swing, actually a perfect place to take photo. But liqour bottles by the side simply dont look good.... More
