The Ambady estate was amazing and shouldn't receive any bad comments. If you want to experience the true India within the tea plantations than this is the place for you. The main house is full of character, the cottages that you stay in are breathtaking, the work of the wooden roof from the inside is worth a picture. The restaurant... More

The journey to the Ambdy is not for the faint hearted, with a road which climbs high into the hills, but it's worth it for night here. I travelled with my wife on my honeymoon trip and stayed here for 3N .We were in honeymoon cottage planned by TTK (The travel Planners). Ours was large, well fitted out with an... More

Well my visit to Ambady estate was part of the Honeymoon package by TTK. A little away from the local market (Although even the market was not also very big) or rather center, the estate is quite peaceful and indeed has a tranquilizing effect on your mind in this modern life. Enough of the philosophy now, coming to the review!!!... More

This review is a little delayed but worth a mention and hence I am compelled to write about the experience we had while staying at Ambady Estate. My wife had done a thorough research and post an amicable decision we arrived to a conclusion to book Ambady Estate for our stay at Munnar. The location of the estate is well... More

We stayed at the Ambady Estate for two nights as part as our tour of Kerala and were delighted with the setting and spacious accommodation. The gardens were lovely and it was a pleasure to relax in the garden outside the bungalow listening to birdsong. It would have been a useful addition to have a small fridge in the room... More

Apparently there aren't many nice places to pick from once up here in the verdant tea and cardamom plantations. Six rooms I think they said, maybe 8. Super rough graded steep driveway to climb, 30 min outside the main town. Warm friendly staff of 3-4. No frills, no pool or spa here. Feed was excellent. Internet only in the reception.... More

I don't know where to start to say just how wonderful this farmhouse is. Set in a cardamom plantation. Very good place to stay with natural beauty. the accommodation is in large split level bungalows each set in its own garden. We'll furnished, clean and comfortable. With good food and friendly nature of the staff. The plantation of the resort... More

I and my husband went to stay here back in August 2011. The place is very well- maintained and is one of the most beautiful and romantic settings that I have experienced in India so far. We enjoyed an off-season discount and were completely bowled over by the warmth and hospitality of the doctor couple. Dr. Rajesh Madanan was kind... More
