Location of this cottage takes all the marks. We are visiting Munnar second time with the same cottage. If you want to be in peace and calm you should definitely go with this hotel. Having your breakfast in between of tea garden was super amazing. Note: We faced one odd situation when we had reached there, We had confirmed our booking... More

I am writting this comment more than a year after I went to Zina Cottage, but just to say "go there, please do" ! We were three girls travelling around India for three months, and arriving to Zina Cottage was such a memorable moment in our trip. Go there if you want a break from everything - from the noise... Zina cottages is a quaint rustic cottage in the hills of Munnar. It is a five minute walk from the main road and so is away from the local busyness of things. It has a nice view, and the manager is very in tune with taking care of his guests. Tea was always available, and it's a short jaunt into... More

It is our luck that we found Zina Cottage in Munnar. We usually refer to Tripadvisor while looking for homestays, but for some reason Zina did not have very good reviews so we decided not to stay stay there. However, thanks to the Auto driver who still got us to Zina, it was love at first sight. It is located... More

I wouldn't recommend anybody plan a holiday in Munnar town. It is noisy, crowded and completely not worth the effort of getting there. Not very different from many of the tiny "Hill Stations" across the country. There are, however, several home-stays near Munnar that are tranquil oases. Zina Cottages, is a small guest house that is within the town of... More

We had a really peaceful and relaxing time here. And the view was magnificent, not just of the surrounding green tea plantations but the very well-kept flower garden. Sitting outside with a book underneath the shade whilst admiring the view was idyllic. It was so quiet too, away from all the traffic noises. Just the sound of wind and the... More

Rooms are nothing special (the house seems pretty old and is up for some renovation) but it's spacious and definitely atmospheric. The place is located where the tea plantations start and makes for a welcome escape outside the (dirty) town. It's not cheap so I guess you also pay for the location. A cheap dinner is served every night for... More

We made a reservation three days before arriving in Munnar. We reserved the room on the phone and when we requested e-mail confirmation were told that written confirmation was not necessary. The morning of our arrival we decided to call to make sure we had a room and were told that there were no rooms available and given the phone... More

Stayed for one night, rooms where big, clean and cozy.. Just outside the room a nice small garden overlooking the green hills and mountains. We had a great home cooked dinner made by the owners, and they can provide you with beer, breakfast, tea, coffee and anything else you want to have. Just outside the gate of the guest house... More

We came to Zina cottage after spending one night at a cheaper place in town. Considering that most of the places with this kind of view in Munnar are much more expensive, zina is actually very well priced. Yes, the rooms are very basic, but comfortable enough and very spacious. They had hot water, toilet paper, soap and extra blankets... More
