Room basic but sufficient, excellent price, breakfasts overlooking tea plantations were priceless, lovely walks from outside the cottages. Helpful staff, excellent- thank you! No wifi, and curfew due to dangerous wild animals but who can complain when you're paying so little for such an incredible location. Brilliant!

I went in a group, having seen our fair share of basic rooms across India. This was the worst room we stayed in- no hot water, the sheets were dirty and the rooms were not clean and were damp. However, the location was incredible, in the middle of tea plantations, and I think for some of us this made up... More

We were three families in all, were leaded there by the owner Eric David, a humble and helpful person. The cottage given also had all three rooms interconnected which made things so possible and easy. Our first entrance to the cottage overwhelmed my family wherein the cottage is placed amidst hills completely covered in tea plantations and my oh my... More

The location of this hostel/guesthouse is really awesome! The tea plantations are really your backyard and hiking from the hostel is so easy! Further the staff made a nice breakfast + fresh hot tea when needed (sometimes to warm up in the colder mountains;) Next the staff could arrange a scooter from Gokulam Bike Hire & Tour Operator, the prices... Zina cottages is a place which is preferred by frnds in munnar. The place is located on a slope surrounded by tea plantations. Though the asphalt on the road in literally non existent n will definitely scrape the underbelly of ur sedan. But it is totally worth it. The rooms are really spacious n to have breakfast out in middle... More

This place had spectacular panarama 360 degree views. it is up a tiny lane that only the bravest of rickshaw drivers will tackle in the middle of a tea plantation. The managers are really friendly and helpful and make traditional India dinners. They even taught me to make chapatis! Rooms are basic and damp and need updating but it's worth... More
