All was well as arrived on the 8th of November to stay a week. There were just three guests, myself and friend and a single. The fourth day a squall set in with 35 knot winds and mucho rain that poured into our room. The only dry area was atop our beds where we sat for much of the day.... more

From start to finish this place is amazing. The owner and manager were very helpful in making all prearrival needs met. The location and views are fantastic. It's quiet but a quick 5 minute walk to the restaurants, etc... in west end. The rooms are spotless and spacious. The ceilings are beamed and the floors are wood. There is lots... more

This was a great place. It is secluded enough down the road from West End to be peaceful and quite. Yet it is close enough to te dive shops and restaurants and bars in the west end. Ron was the best and kept an eye out for me as a solo traveler. more

We had a fabulous stay at Cocolobo and will be back for sure! The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. We were able to watch some fabulous sunsets from our balcony and the air conditioning was a major bonus. Ron and Bonnie (the managers) were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. They always had cold beer... more

This place was fantastic! It was a five stars for me. The setting is magnificient... even better then on the pictures. The best sunsets on the island are there. The rooms are really "chic", breakfast delicious, service impeccable,... The fact that it is at a 10 minutes walk from the center is an added bonus. It is very calm and... more

As far as we could see, Cocolobo was the nicest hotel in the West End, at least from a design and comfort standpoint. Being a little off the main area, it required a 10-15 minute walk to get most places, but it was also very quiet. Beautiful setting and nice big clean rooms. The owners, Bonnie and Ron, were very... more

I first planned to go to Cocolobo in July, but wasn't able to make the trip. Ron completely understood and simply transferred my deposit to this trip, when I was able to make it. It was the easiest check in I've ever had. We were greeted at the bar by Ron, and were immediately offered cold beers. It had been... more

We just got back from Roatan and stayed in the West End at Cocolobo. This is one of the best spots in the West End. The rooms are very spacious, with great ocean front views. There is a coral front with no beach but with the bug issues on the beach this was all part of the plan and we... more

We spent a great christmas week at Cocolobo, with great diving at Reef Gliders. The breakfast changes daily, a big plus because in lots of places in Honduras you can "only" eat "el tipico". The view from the room, the balcony, the hamac is amazing so also the sunsets. At the hotel you can just relax and within a walk... more

We had two rooms at Cocolobo for a week (one for the parents one for the teenagers) and it was fabulous. The combination of the lovely and extremely comfortable rooms with the awesome location make for a pretty unbeatable combination. We liked that we could walk ten minutes into West End for the dozens of restaurants and shops but at... more
