We couldn't book chilies hotel and so this place wound up being our next choice. We didn't have a kitchenette or hot water so we did not get the full value of our dollar but our beach was nicer then any other beach. This side is also where the cruise ships pull in so it costs more to be on... More

I'm floored at all of the negative reviews! I stayed at Coconut Tree Cabins in May 2013 with a friend of mine. We were SO excited when we arrived since we couldn't find too much info online about the cabins or their reputation. First the owner's son picked us up at the airport for free, threw us a couple cold... More

We stayed at this hotel in late September and as soon as we walked in the room there was this stench of ammonia that filled the room. Not the ammonia like the ingredient in Windex, it was more like walking into a cave full of bats type of smell. It was late and I was really tired so I disregarded... More

I had no intention of staying at this hotel because I had already decided on another hotel down the street. The only reason that I entertained the idea is because my taxi driver told me that they had a beach across the street in front of this hotel and my originally planned hotel did not. I went ahead and asked... More

I took my diving courses (open water and advanced) with Coconut Tree Divers (see my review to this effect) in March 2008 and rent a cabin at that time. Went back in February 2013 and rent again at Coconut Tree Cabins. The positive: - Great location if you are diving (1 minute walk to your room) - Good porch with... More

I will start by saying that the Coconut Tree Dive Shop is the BEST ON THE ISLAND USE THEM TO DIVE, but do not stay at these cabins. These cabins are HORRIBLE. I am a U.S. Navy Vet (retired) and I have traveled all over the world and been in some low rent districts. The cabins at Coconut Tree are... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 6 days. We stayed in Cabin # 11 on their website. The cabin was a studio style arrangement with a fridge, sink and stove. Our room was clean, air conditioned and very affordable. I would stay here again if I returned to Roatan.

I am a handicapped individual who spent 5 weeks in Central America and the staff here was the worst I came across. The room was semi neglected and I had to ask for towels. The bathroom needed a few things fixing and the shower door was broken and did not open. The stairs to the rooms behind the office were... More

I checked in and immediately was let into my CUTE little cabin. The AC was turned on for me ahead of time ( I did not know I was even going to have AC) and it was pretty cool. By evening I was adjusting it cause the AC works a little too well and I was freezing! But, better working... More
