Stumble Inn was a wonderful place for my wife and I to take a break from traveling and simply relax by the beach and enjoy the food, drinks, and friendly, competent staff. The ex-pat managers were pleasantly quirky and more than happy to help out with anything we needed. The mood was light and enjoyable, the bonfire warm and comfortable... More

A brilliant setting by the coast, we came here when let down by a local resort down the road. The staff were friendly and helpful, and were able to rustle up some food for us even though we arrived late and last minute. There is a well-stocked but basic bar on the beach, and we found ourselves there each night... More

After arriving at the resort we had booked, my wife and I decided to look for somewhere else to stay as it did not meet expectations. A quick flick through the lonely planet and one phone call later we had rooms at Stumble Inn for 4 nights and it was great. The beachfront location was brilliant and the staff were... More

Its not about the size of the ship, but the motion in the ocean. Stumble inn is the perfect antidote to the oversized alternatives in the area and the staff a competent, friendly crew who will guide you safely to Pleasure Island. Thanks for a lovely weekend x

This place SHOULD be great and the Ghanian people working there certainly are but sadly it seems there is major mis-mismanagement from ex-pat's. We were double booked (TWICE!), very rudely spoken to ( again by the management not the Ghanians) and found the mosquito nets and rooms in a terrible state. The mosquito nets are NOT safe and despite our... More

Just spent five days at the Stumble Inn, for the price of accomodation, it was great. The staff were always on hand and were always helpful. While they do also, cater to school groups travelling through the area, they appeared to handle things with ease. While the menu reflects the need to feed European and North American highschoolers, there is... More

John and Beth were incredibly welcoming, the beach view is terrific, the breakfast was good and its a good place to camp out if you are in the Cape Coast area. The bio toilets do take some getting used to however and would be the one thing that put this western tourist off. Otherwise the owners were very welcoming.

I am so glad I 'stumbled' into this beautiful paradise in Elmina. It has its own little beach to relax and fantastic food and very friendly staff. The travel guides said it was 4km from Elmina but the taxi ride in was a long ride through bumpy roads and we weren't sure about the accuracy of the travel guide. However,... More

I was actually staying nearby to stumble for most of my trip but decided to go there for meals and to relax due to the good food, great prices, and friendly atmosphere. I stayed there for 2 nights in the relatively new hut. I thought the hut was beautiful, I just wish I'd had someone to share it with. Seemingly... More

I have been to stay in Stumble Inn three times now, and I fall in love with the place a little bit more each time I visit. The location is idyllic, peaceful and friendly. The food is extremely tasty (fresh pineapple, mango, pancakes, omlettes, for breakfast, with similarly fresh food in the evening), and the service could not be more... More
