We have had a wonderful stay in the overwater bungalows at the Pearl. The location on the island is wonderful...within walking distance of a small grocery store and a couple of nice restaurants, along with a fabulous view of the ocean and mountains. The bungalow itself is very nice. For two people, there is more than enough space and I... More

My husband and I stayed at the Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa on our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful. The morning we arrived, we were exhausted. We arrived much earlier than we had thought. We were greeted with a fresh wash cloth and water. Our room was not available, but the staff put us in a room to shower and... More

Lets start by saying that this hotel is not 5 star. I think that is understood, and as long as you don't go with that expectation, you wont be disappointed. The rooms are comfortable. We stayed in a garden bungalow with a private pool. It was nice, but we didn't have need for the private pool. We would snorkel off... More

We stayed two nights in a premium overwater bungalow on the quite side (less people swimming by your hut). It was really cool that you could snorkle off your dock and there were fish swimming all around. The room was a decent size. Beware that all bungalows are not equal, there are a few built that look backwards toward the... More

My wife and I needed a hotel for the second part of our honeymoon for 2 nights in August after Bora Bora. This place looked wonderful in pictures but the rate was lower than other branded hotels so initially we were skeptical. We took a risk which turned out great. Its a beautiful hotel looks just as great in real... More

Firstly I need to lead with Moorea is one of the most beautiful places & the premium Overwater bungalow has spoilt us for life. What lets this place down is the service, there's no evidence of senior management so it feels like the staff set their own standards which fall well short. Check-in was slow & unfriendly. Night 1 we... More

Stayed here nine nights over New Year in a premium overwater bungalow and it was heaven! All day sun, and fabulous warm evenings on our deck watching the sun go down! Room was very spacious and well fitted out, and bathroom a good size. We chose to be overwater, but the beach bungalows had the advantage of their own strip... More

we stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon in one of the bungalows facing the sea. our room had petals on the bed in the shape of a heart, which was a nice touch. the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. you have small supermarket and shops a short walk from the hotel, which was handy to... We actually stayed here in November 2013, but it would not let me select that option (I'm slow at writing reviews!). We stayed in one of the garden pool bungalows and absolutely loved the room. It was very spacious and the pool was nice and private. The resort itself was very nice and well maintained. They greeted us with cool... More

We returned to the Pearl and found it just as lovely as we did in 2013. The staff is so helpful and kind. One new adventure was the Jet Ski tour with Calixte. The tour leaves from the Pearl and is a two-hour ride along the coast to see both bays and then swim with sharks and rays. Just fabulous... More
