My extended family of six shared two bungalows over the water and we could not have been more enchanted. It was an obvious dream come true after the extensive plane flight,we were dropped in what I would refer to as heaven. Our rooms were rustic yet plush and we totally had that island vibe, but with the elegance of a... More

We had a great time and would recommend this resort to fellow travelers! The cost of meals was more expensive then eating at local restaurants so opt for the breakfast included option when booking. Check out the local restaurants and take advantage of the free pick up / drop off, (all restaurants do it) and the concierge will call for... More

We stayed at the Pearl for three nights in an overwater bungle while coming home from a vacation in New Zealand. We absolutely LOVED it!! One of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at, and excellent value as well! The staff were extremely friendly at all times, and it was in a great location (on a beautiful reef, and... More

We stayed 2 nights in a premium overwater bungalow in January 2015 before taking a 10 day cruise around French Polynesia. These 2 nights were the best of our entire 12 day trip. Our bungalow was amazing. We would wake up in the morning and have coffee on the front private deck which over looked nothing but ocean. The reef... More

Stayed for 5 nights in a premuim OWB first week March 2015 and after Moorea continued on to the Tikehau Pearl Resort for 5 more nights (reviewed separately). We have stayed at this property in Moorea before about 8 years ago, loved it so much we felt we needed to return. Sadly some things have changed not only with the... More

Spent three nights at The Pearl, the grounds are lovely, but the bungalows are superb! Excellent decorated, a dream place. The breakfast buffet included was excellent and bountiful, the staff was always friendly. I especially appreciated the efforts of Vanessa, what an attribute to your employees. Thank you for a beautiful time. We hope to visit again and will definitely... More

We just recently spent 5 nights at the Pearl and we really enjoyed it. They keep the grounds finely manicured and the rooms were very clean and exceeded our expectations. It was a great hotel. Short walk to shops, restaurants and supermarket, the only negative was there was quite a bit of trash alongside the road ( if its the tourists... More

we had some decent fish dishes here and enjoyed the resort, the pool , the beach and the snorkelling. One of the highlights is a fitness class with Aqua Gym offered three times a week. Louisa is an excellent teacher, the classes are fun and you feel great afterwards, this is a real bonus to being at the Pearl resort.

My college age daughter and I spend a week at the Moorea Pearl in January. We had been struggling with making a choice between Bora Bora and Moorea but went with a beach front bungalow on Moorea. This hotel is really nice and the lagoon is fantastic. Hundreds of beautiful fish swarm you while swimming and the hotel is working... More

This resort is quite different than others in the islands in that the overwater bungalows are built over a reef and not on sand. So don't expect to jump into waist high water and soft sand. But it does give a different experience in snorkeling since there are more fish around the reefs. The resort is very nice with a... More
