Expensive for El Salvador but probably cheap compared to anywhere else. The rooms and the property itself are beautiful, with a nice pool, and the staff are very nice. We just stayed one night and had dinner there and breakfast (which was included). Dinner was good but not mind-blowing.

I have stayed twice and although a bit pricy for El Salvador is definitely worth the extra money. Beautiful hotel in an incredible setting. The restaurant serves good food. Charming patio and impressive art collection.

We visited this gorgeous hotel when passing through Suchitoto. When discussing whether to take the suite or double room, the member of staff offered us the suite for the same price as it was low season. Delicious breakfast included and had dinner there one night which was also gorgeous! Loved it.

We loved this hotel so much that we extended our stay. It's a gorgeous boutique hotel in a very relaxed, safe, progressive town. We stayed in a suite that had two floors and could have slept 4 people. Giant bathroom. Eclectic art collection. The balcony overlooked the pool, the lake, and the mountains. The grounds are exquisitely landscaped. The staff... More

I enjoyed my "too short stay" in this beautiful boutique hôtel in the heart of Suchitoto ! taste and authentic decor permit to relax and enjoy the charming "Pueblo Vivo" (nice little pool, friendly bar and patio where you can enjoy tasty meals and Salvadorian's speciality ...) An ideal place when you visit beautiful El Salvador ... Pascal, a French... More

i agree with the people who write that the place is very pretty. but it feels very uncomfortable to stay because of the two owners who are always everywhere in the hotel. they even hang big pictures of themselves in the front. in a good hotel, the guest should feel like the important person, but they walk around like they... I visited Los Almendros with a friend and really enjoyed our time. The staff was very attentive and the grounds terrific. The staff took us to the local waterfall and waited while we toured which was terrific. The rooms were comfortable although the bed spreads could use a little updating. The breakfast was delicious. Suchitoto was a very nice town.... More

We (husband, 10 year old daughter and myself) loved our stay here. For several days we were the only guests, however it filled up quickly on the weekend. This was our favourite hotel of the trip. It might be on the pricey side for an El Salvador hotel, but is worth every penny and is a bargain compared to Canadian... More

My husband and I stayed two nights at Los Almendros. The hotel is lovely and the service is top notch. We've stayed at some 5 star hotels and not gotten the level of service you get here. The grounds are lovely with lots of lush greenery. The pool is blue and cool. The rooms are nicely appointed and the entire... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights as part of a group holiday. Our suite was absolutely perfect, with a comfortable lounge and a sweeping staircase leading to an upstairs bedroom. This in turn led onto a patio overlooking the lake. Incredibly romantic. The pool is the focus of the garden and is very peaceful, although a little... More
