We spent 2 nights in Las Palmeras at the end of our 2 week vacation in Ecuador. It was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. It is centrally located to be able to visit Otavalo and all of the close by towns. The staff was very friendly and willing to help plan day trips and organize our transportation. The restaurant... Arriving here is wonderful: long very well maintained driveway, palm trees and many types of colorful flowers. The hotel room is just as nice in Hacienda style (as far as I can judge anyway) with a good 2 - person bed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; you hardly have to ask and with a smile they are already... More

I loved Las Palmeras. The beds are super comfortable and the room is very cozy with a fireplace. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered me were the exterior lights which shone into the room at night. Perhaps that was my fault and maybe there is an... More

We stayed one night as part of a four day trip arranged through Columbus Travel. The food was excellent and the respite of the log fire and water bottle was a treat. LasPalmeras was a spot on stop along the way of our tour of the central highlands. I highly recommend the Inn and Columbus travel.

We had a great 2 night stay over a Fri/Sat night. They are one of the few places that allows dogs, and they have a couple dogs onsite. 4 month old Homero is a golden retriever pup that quickly made friends with us, most likely because we gave him treats! We had a great stay. STAFF: Awesome!! Very professional and... More

We stayed 3 nights in one of there wonderfull haciendas and it was a very fantastic experience. In the evening it vas a little cold, but we had our own fireplace and when you are out for dinner, the staff lit up in the fireplace and also put some nicely warm water bottles ind the bed. The service was all... More

We wound up at Las Palmeras by accident, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The rooms are large and very comfortable, each having comfortable beds, a desk and a kiva fireplace, which can be lit each night. The owner, manager, Cesar, was caring and warm, making sure that all of his guests are comfortable. The only complaint... More

We have visited Las Palmeras for years...always finding small upgrades, simple yet important attention to details - and genuinely friendly staff. The new feature this year is expanded WIFI service thru the grounds. Tho Ecuador has been remarkably dry this summer, the grounds were in beautiful condition. I think this is one of the prettiest places - and only a... More

We stayed her on our recent trip to Eciador. The location is smack in the middle of the volcanos and surrounded by gardens making for lovely surroundings! And the individual casitas had a nice sized bedroom and living area with a cozy fireplace that they light while you are at dinner so you return to a cozy eculaptus smelling fire.... More

Loved the location of Las Palmeras, it was so convenient to the town center of Otavalo. We walked down the hill to the Sat. market and that was great. We ate most of our meals here and met other people traveling Ecuador. I love that they start the fire in your room and bring you hot water bottles for your... More
