Maggie and her staff are incredibly helpful. She arranged a taxi to take us to the surrounding villages where handcrafted textiles are still made. We visited 3 different villages and were able to tour multiple workshops, which in most cases were also the proprietor's home. La Posada del Quinde was charming, delicious food, excellent service, very clean,and above all, the American-born, fluent English and Spanish-speaking owner, Maggie, was very informative and helpful about everyting to see, from markets, to weavers, to surrounding areas of interest.
