Our group of 11 stayed at the Hacienda for one night in March this year. This historical hacienda is situated in a beautiful garden setting but that was about all it had to recommend it. There was no reception to speak of - we arrived, cold and weary, and were shown to our rooms without any kind of welcome. There... More

We stayed here for 2 nights after the Galapagos Islands, and boy it was cold! We arrived quite late and they lit a fire for us and we had hot water bottles in the bed. It is a real museum piece with all sorts of original features, but it does need some money spending on it. Staff were friendly and... More

This was an amazing place to stay. Unfortunately we checked in late at night and left early in the morning and did not have time to fully appreciate the architecture or the grounds. When we arrived the fire was lit, there was a warm water bottle in the bed to warm the sheets and the cottage we slept in was... More

We stayed here last night and was great but don't expect just a standard hotel - it's a museum so take the time to wander the grounds which are amazing (you can imagine Zorro galloping down the long cobbled drive) explore all the rooms in the house and look at the old maps and art work. Chase the peacocks then... More

We stayed here two nights as part of our Adventures by Disney tour of the Galapagos and Andean highlands. I cannot recommend this "hotel" and would urge readers to consider other area hotels, including Puerto Lago. The good: the grounds are beautiful, and learning that famous revolutionaries stayed there, and that as recently as the 1990's peace treaties were signed... More

We were totally charmed when we arrived at the Hacienda Pinsoqut. It is an original 1700 hacienda and it was like stepping back in time. The veranda opened onto a beautiful garden. The staff were quite friendly but not very efficient. It took us a while to work out how to use the antiquated key we were given, but finally... More

I'll begin with the positives. This is a beautiful old building with lovely grounds. - if I had been coming to look around for a few hours - I would have loved it. Unfortunately, it proved to be an appallingly uncomfomfortable two days stay. As mentioned by other reviewers the main problem are the cold which pervades every area of the... More

This is a beautiful property about 5 minutes drive outside town, oozing with inviting charm and history. It is what attracted me to stay and if that is enough for you, then you will love it. Dating from the 1700s, the hacienda has some 30 large guest rooms and many lovely public spaces as well as gardens and horses. It... More

In February 2015 my wife and I spent two nights at Hacienda Pinsaqui and visited sites in the area. We visited local craftsmen doing woodworking, leather work and weaving, and the highlight of our trip was a visit to the Saturday market in Otavalo. We hired a guide / driver who we found on Trip Advisor (Angel Rea, angelrea@yahoo.com). He... More

I have been in Hacienda Pinsaqui for lunch or dinner, but I never stayed there, finally I had the cahnce to spent at Hacienda Pinsaqui, and althought the room was not the best because we arrived late at night , and was fully occupied, the people did a great service for that , and that is very important to me...
