Room: Hot Water, Air conditioning. The place is small, is only for a short stay. $40 for a double room. Location: the taxi is $5 to the airport / bus terminal. Not bad located, 4 blocks from the avenue, 15 blocks from the "parque the las Iguanas" and Malecon. You could come back by walking at night. Free WiFi. Also... More

Clean, basic accommodation with hot showers and simple breakfast. I stay here EVERY time I travel through Guayaquil from Cuenca and Canada, and have never been disappointed. Rates are excellent...$40 for a standard twin or double room and $25 for a standard single room. It's about 1 1/2 km from the Guayaquil malecon, and there are a couple of great... More

I was given a room with 3 single beds. The room was spotless, fresh paint. Breakfast was ok, 2 buns and marmalade, instant coffee. I felt so uncomfortable in the area that I did not go out for dinner, stayed in my room and checked out the next morning. The owner was very nice. Nothing he can do about the... More

We booked reservations at this place and when we arrived we were told we are not welcome because we are a gay couple. This is a bigoted Christian place and should not be listed here unless stated that they only allow certain people within their establishment.

We arrived into Guayaquil on a late flight and departed early the next morning. Hotel Jeshua offered a pick-up service at the airport for a reasonable fee and I would recommend this service for late/first time arrivals. The hotel is a short distance from the airport (about 15 minutes). Alex the, owner’s son, speaks English and was very helpful before... More

I don't understand why this place is number three on TripAdvisor and makes me suspicious of the ratings. Yes it was OK. Comfortable bed and a s secure position not too far from the malecon and with good customer service. However there are plenty of things which make this place average at best. Firstly our rum did not have a... More

I stayed at hotel jesgua for 2 nights. It is in a good location, just 4 blocks of the Main Street. The included breakfast is just 2 small pieces of bread and jam, we had to go out to for a bigger breakfast. The English speaking son was only there when we checked in (to collect the money) and then... More

We stayed at the Hotel Jeshua for 2 nights in June 2013. Taxi driver knew the hotel and finding it was not a problem - even though it is a little outside the main part of downtown. The location is not bad - a 20-25 minute walk to the Malecon 2000 and the true downtown part of Guayaquil. The hotel... More
