I spent a total of 3 nights at the Manso Boutique Guesthouse before and after a trip to the Galapagos. We were so pleased with every aspect of this hotel. The location was great...right across from the beautiful Mallacon boardwalk park and easy to walk around the downtown area. The hotel was very clean, our room was HUGE, everything worked... More

I stayed here twice at two different times in my trip. The first time I was in a dorm - private bathroom, comfy beds, air con. And the second in a private with a shared bathroom. The private room came with breakfast, however this didn't really make up for the fact it cost $31!! The hostel has a nice atmosphere,... More

A good choice foe Guayaquil. The price is high because it is not a boutique hotel but the service was outstanding, the location is excellent but not excellent if you have a room overlooking the street. The stairs can turn people off but we have always had someone from the staff take up our heavy trunks,

We booked our room based on the recommendation of an acquaintance. After reading reviews on this site, I rang to book a room on the second floor, which was confirmed as the Lotus Room. After 12 hours of travel and an early start the following morning, we wanted to avoid noise on the lobby floor, and did not want the... More

Dear Guest: I am so sorry to hear that there were problems with the hot water in your room. I don't think the problem was that we did not activate hot water in your room, because the system is automatic; it turns on when someone opens the tap. Our policy is that whenever there is a problem of any kind... More

I had an overnight stay before heading on to Cuenca. From the first contact everyone was so helpful. Very unique property, great food and frsh made fruit drink. I was exhausted and and went to sleep before 9pm and there were no loud noises to wake me up. The location was perfect. I would certainly stay there again.

This is a great location to spend the night in Guayaquil. Very good English speaking staff and helpful. Good view of the Malecon and the river. Room is basic but clean but had own bathroom. Breakfast is fine.

It is such a treat to lay my head on one of the lush feather pillows at the end of the day at Manso. I have had many friends recommend this place to me and now I know why. There is much love and attention that has gone into making this boutique hotel great. From the art on the walls... More

Just across the street Malocon 2000, almost at its middle point. A short walk to the Cathedral and Parque de las Iguanas as well as all the restaurants right on the downtown area. Our room, Habitacion Blanca, faces the street and although a bit noisy did not forbid us from sleeping. The bathroom is a little add but the room... More

Stayed here for one night after a 20 hour flight to Ecuador and from start to finish everything was wonderful. Girls at the front desk were very helpful, sweet, kind, and accommodating. Food in the kitchen is solid and cheap (though missing any traces of meat, they do have eggs if you're looking for protein), and you seriously cannot beat... More

El Manso Botique Guesthouse was one of our best experiences in Ecuador. From the very first when we made our reservations (and yes they have live chat) to our actual stay they were helpful, and patient as well as totally professional. We arrived very late at night with 8 suitcases, two carry-ons and two cats in carriers. Of course two... More
