Definitely not a 4 star Hotel, don't expect that. Overall I can give a 3 star rating. It's located in a very good spot, near the Malecon 2000. The staff was very friendly with me, they help me on getting taxis & on recommending places to visit and restaurants. Don't expect luxury (breakfast is average and the building seems a... More

As we were running on a budget but wanting a place near the Malecon, this place was nicely spotted and really good on the overall. As we get there, they where replacing all the WIFI equipment so we had it working only on the second day, but as soon that all has been fixed, it worked really well, doing skype... More

Dump, dump, dump, dump, dump, dump, dump. Did I say this place is a dump. Usually I try to be simpathic especially when going on a budget but this place takes the icing for worse places I've stayed. Off the back I knew something was up when the front desk said his credit machine was broke though he asked me if I was paying with... More

The staff doesn't know what they're doing. The breakfast was the worst I've ever had: they brought cold food and said "it's supposed to be cold". I had to complain with the cook for them to heat it up. The wifi is slow and not everywhere. Beds are comfortable though :)

We appreciate Hotel Malecon Inn being dog-friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. When our car was too tall to fit in their parking garage, they made arrangements for it to be parked in a place where it was watched. Great location, especially for exploring the Malecon and other parks in the area. Breakfast was basic, and the coffee was... More

My husband and I stayed at "Malecon Inn" this October of 2011. The location was great; however, the service was extremely poor. The breakfast was horrible. The room, the sheets, and the towels were dirty. The transportation to the airport was not included. We had to pay $5.00 US. The elevator was old and scary. Terrible terrible terrible place to... Last October we stayed for 4 nights at “Malecon Inn Hotel” The best thing about this hotel is the position, very central; however, the hotel was very smelly, and the bathroom very, very, dirty. The rooms were dark and also smelled. The sheets beds and the towels were stained and smelly. I did not eat the breakfast (included) because the... More
