Near the border of Rwanda and DR Congo, great view of the lake Kivu, perfect place to stay long while working. Tennis courts are excellent. Restaurant prices are very high though. meals range from $18 to $25 on average. Best hotel in Goma for sure.

Good, comfortable, scenic hotel; best accommodation in Goma; while not as sophisticated and spectacular as Lake Kivu Serena across the border in Rwanda's Gisenyi, it's still an island of serenity and cleanliness amid Goma's African hustle and bustle; mostly for the business and conference traveller; beachfront can't match Serena's across the border. The hotel is located 50m from the Rwandese border. I stayed 8 nights in this hotel. Rooms start from 90$ to 150$. I stayed in a 100$ room which was clean, equiped with TV and wifi (which was really working during my stay!). This price includes a great self-service breakfast with excellent food. I loved it. Unfortunatly the restaurant (dinner)... More

I had the $100 per night room and it was a little cramped but fine overall, clean, and had aircon. The bathrooms were also clean although a little old. The mattress and pillows were also of good quality. This is a 3 minute walk from the border so an easy place to start any other travel from if you are... More

First note; there are renovation works at the reception area and this has made the reception area less appealing. Beyond there are works at one of the restaurants but these do no affect clients. The strongest suit of Ihusi is its beautiful location and wonderful grounds. Lots of lush gardens; a nice pool and multiple inviting areas for a drink... More

You will enjoy your stay at Hotel Ihusi. The staff attend to every detail. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The landscaping is impressive. There is a nice pool, a well equipped gym and tennis courts. Best of all are the views of beautiful Lake Kivu.

I stayed there for 3 nights I had a room in the main building with not much of a view... but room was ok and quiet. The hotel is very well located on the shore of the lake and it is very nice to walk around or sit for a drink looking at the lake. Dinner was good with a... More

The best hotel is town is definitely NOT this one. Linda and Kivu lodge are much more comfortable. Got clothes stolen from my room, when complaining about it the reception insinuated that I had lost my clothes myself. I had locked everything in my suitcases except these clothes that I had worn the previous day. They broke the wheel of... More
