We were travelling in Croatia with another couple, and unexpectedly needed to find accommodations near the Zagreb Airport for one night. There was not much available in the area, and we decided to stay at the three-star Garni Hotel, which was very conveniently located.

There was a choice of rooms, with either one double or two single beds, Our friends prefered two singles, so we opted for the same thing. We wanted rooms on the ground floor, as there was no elevator and we had a fair amount of luggage. We were told that there was no satellite TV in those rooms (only Croatian stations were available), so we chose the first floor instead.
Our room was very small, containing two beds, separated by a small desk with a chair, and a very small alcove for hanging clothes, There was an air-conditioner/heater on the wall.
