I was there with friends during July 2013. The whole vacation was a wonderful experience , we were thrilled with our reception in this hotel. The staff was amazingly kind and nice, the town was absolutely beautiful. We spent three nights there, breakfast was very tasty and the staff the best ever. I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming... More

As a tourist guide I have been traveling a lot in Croatia and Trogir is one of my favorite cities. And during my various stays, I bedded in the authentic family owned Hotel Tragos which for me by far met my expectations. I would have to say that the location is great, right in the center of the historic town... More

Arriving somewhat jaded after a lengthy flight, we were greeted by the manager who was coping with the short absence of his front of house staff. Despite obvious pressure, we were processed with efficiency and good will to our room which was quiet and rearward facing. Rain was threatening so there was doubt about the usual musical event on Thursday... More

Actually there was only one thing we disliked: it's rather noisy - from inside the building as well as from the little alley where the restaurant has outside seating. Breakfast was so-so. The rest was really good: location, atmosphere, rooms, bathrooms, staff.

Due to the Hotel Tragos being overbooked we were offered accomodation in a nearby apartment three weeks before departure date. We were a little dubious but accepted the change after being emailed photos of said apartment and hoped for the best. On arrival we were offered breakfast and then taken to the apartment, a two minute walk. We can only... More

Unpretentious and authentic family owned little hotel in the heart of Trogir's charming walled city. Friendly and pleasant staff with a very nice restuarant serving traditional food in a pleasant outdoor space. We booked the romantic package and our room was very cramped with a tiny bathroom, only big enough for one of us at a time. The a/c was... More

A beautiful family owned hotel in the center of old town Trogir. The owner Jerko greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the establishment. He made us feel like family. Boris and the entire staff were excellent. We ate at the attached Tragos restaurant for the Dalmatian evening. Both the food and the entertainment were wonderful. The... More

Location was right in the heart of Trogir. Rooms sizable and clean. But the air conditioners in two out of two rooms my family used produced a completely ineffective tiny whisper of air. The staff came and checked and said that this was how these machines worked. If this is the best they can do, they should not advertise the... More

If you are considering visiting the beautiful country of Croatia we would recommend you stay at the lovely Hotel Tragos. Hotel Tragos is located within the old walls of Trigar, commonly known as the living museum, a short drive from Split Airport. We stayed for 7 days in June 2013 and enjoyed every second. The staff were extremely friendly, and... More
