Imagine waking up, walking about 3 steps to the terrace, and breakfast appears within seconds! Fresh fruit, yougurt, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, orange juice, and coffee. What more could you want? My husband and I spent 4 nights at Villa Moretti on a 17 day vacation through Croatia, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. This was my favorite room by far.... More

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of July. Emilia runs an excellent B & B with 4 double rooms looking out over the marina & waterfront of Trogir. It is a busy place in July & was very hot while we were there but our room was air-conditioned & quiet with the double glazing & shutters. We had... More

We stayed for 9 nights in mid June, and loved every day. Villa Moretti and Trogir are perfect for a relaxing holiday. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The room (no.1) was extremely clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and the views across to Trogir were stunning. The lovely breakfast on the terrace consisted of... More

We stayed here one night prior to catching the ferry from Split. I would advise doing this rather than staying in Split, which is quite large and charmless. The villa does not have that much appeal from the outside, but the room we stayed in was large and clean. I found the furnishings rather modest and the decor somewhat lackluster,... More

Our weeks stay at the Villa Moretti went all too quickly. We were greeted at the hotel by the owner Emilia after being collected from the airport by her husband. Our luggage was very quickly taken up stairs to our air conditioned room that was our home for the next week. The room was big, with lots of windows, it... More

We stayed in villa Moretti for five days in mid June and came back for the last night of our journey in Croatia in the beginning of July before to take the plane back to Paris from Split Airport. It was like coming back home. The hostess Emilia is very warm, helpful, efficient, and has a very agreable and pleasant... More

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the views were very nice. The terrace was lovely for relaxing on and breakfast was very good quality. With a very old and characterful exterior, the website had given us some clue of what to expect, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by my first impressions of walking into our room. It was a change to actually stay somewhere that was decorated and furnished in period style but was still very comfortable and private. We had... More

The Villa Moretti is a gem. Their room #1 was the best room we had in Croatia, truly 4-star. The house is the family home of the Morettis, a shipping family originally from Genoa. It was labeled Palača Moretti on the map. (Emilia, the hostess, was born a Moretti and has a book about the family history written by a... More

The villa is right across the water, about a 5 minute walk from Trogir's Old Town, so location was great. We had a car and parking was arranged with the Villa, no problem. The large room had a fantastic view of the old town and water. There was a nice patio outside the room where we could also sit and... More
