We stayed 3 nights here. Located in the heart of the old town. Very quaint and charming. Robert took excellent care of us. Our room was big and comfortable. Our breakfast was great. Cant say enough good things about Rovinj and Casa Garzotto!! If you are looking for an authentic experience...stay here.

Casa Garzotto was a great choice for my husband and I on our vacation. Robert was great- from getting us in and out of the old town with our rental car and carrying out bags up the stairs to our room, to making us a bagged lunch before our early morning ferry departure! Our room was just as expected (I... More

A gem to stay in Rovinj! Location: perfect location in old town Room: we got upgraded to a bigger room with sofa which was lovely, but the downside is wifi wasn't working at all throughout our 4 nights stay. Breakfast: lovely choices with great service from Marina? We'd a great chat with her knowing a little bit about a way... More

Stayed here once before, I'm very happy with changes and upgrades. Still, being in the old city (Stari Grad) is worth so much more. Breakfast was nice and convenient. Many great places to eat close by. But remember, it is in the old city, and you must walk on the stone streets to get to hotel. We had a car,... More

Just returned from 2 weeks in Croatia and Slovenia. Rovinj our favorite city and Casa Garzotto helped us to this conclusion. Great location and service. Robert is a gem. Great location in old town. Also recommend Tipico for a great dinner.

Usually I like modern contemporary but this place takes you to the past. We stayed on the second floor in the Basilisco Veneziano Junior Suite. Large room with sofa and kitchen which had limited utensils. The bathroom was fine and the main bed room was quaint with a squeaky bed. Lovely vibrant all day and evening and gets quiet about... Seems that reviews are mixed based on which building you stay in? We have the top floor of the main building. The stairs are steep, but the room was great. Wonderful space and great views. Breakfast was plentiful in a building around the corner. If you are driving, it is tricky to first arrive as the entire old town is... More

This hotel has rooms scattered over a few blocks. Our room was small, with a tiny bathroom, NO TV!!! On the good side it had good WiFi. On the down-side the bathroom was across (close to) another building but without a curtain... I used to hang my towel across the window to keep the neighbours from seeing me naked... The... More

I read a few negative reviews on this specific problem on tripadvisor before booking this hotel, but I did not really believe it as there were so many other positive reviews. The specific problem is that you might run the risk of being placed in another (not so pleasant) apartment outside the main building. My wife and me booked a... More

This was a tremendous fine. Very funky old lobby awaits you. The room was fabulous, and by European standards quite large. Amazing breakfast in the morning in a charming room around from the hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and service oriented. Robert was always ready to help - and even packed us bag lunches for the ferry to... More
