I booked my stay at Casa Garzotto after having read the excellent reviews about the hotel on Trip Advisor, and can only agree with the comments made previously. This is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in the centre of Rovinj old town - large comfortable apartments with modcons, close to the cafés and restaurants of... more

We stayed here for two nights in mid-May. It was one of our highlights in Istria. The staff, Dario, Zlatka and Maria, went well out of their way to ensure a warm and memorable experience in their hotel and Rovinj. Very nice and friendly staff complement this small, well situated hotel within city center and walking distance to everything. Spacious,... more

Stayed with my daughter over three glorious May days in Baladur Pavan, where the owner offers more simple guest rooms as an alternative to the beautiful apartments in the main building. While the charming rooms, the excellent breakfast, the guest amenities such as free bicycles, car parking, and local wine are all delightful, Casa Garzotto stands out particularly for the... more

The rooms in the main building of this hotel are full of character (although you do of course pay for this) and the location couldn't be better as it is right in the centre of town. The staff are very friendly and do go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, recommending restaurants to eat (and booking them)... more

We spent two weeks at Casa Garzotto and did not regret a single day. We stayed in a spacious room nicely furnished with antique furniture and framed pictures - a very homely atmosphere. This ambience was present in each hotel service - from the friendly hotel staff, welcoming breakfast to the special services such as bike rental or the transport... more

We stayed at Casa Garzotta for 2 nights in April, 2009. The hotel staff is so accommodating and friendly. They arranged to have a crib for us, made restaurant reservations for us (and then walked us there), had great day trip ideas and were always pleasant. I was also surprised that our room had a kitchenette. The included breakfast buffet... more

This hotel was a great find. It's centrally located and the rooms are done in an olde worlde style, and have everything you need, including a small kitchen area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They parked our car and brought it to us when we needed it, they lent us bicyles and beach mats, and did more than... more

We absolutely loved our experience in the city of Rovinj and the Casa Garzotto! Our only regret was that we did not stay longer! The owner, Dario, has done a wonderful job restoring this old building into a charming and relaxing accomodation. Every detail is done with class and the property seems to be beautifully maintained! Our room was spacious,... more

We stayed for 3 nights at Casa Garzotto after 3 nights in Venice and followed by 3 nights in Zadar. There is a direct ferry from Venice to Rovinj taking just 2 1/2 hours, this is how we arrived. Not knowing where the hotel was did not prove to be a problem as one phone call to Dario and a... more

The reviews are right. The service is impeccable, the location perfect, the bike rides are stunning on some of the world's best bike paths. In addition do try snorkeling. It was our first time and the location was perfect for that. more
