Booked 3 days at this hotel. great location above tree lined beach. beach itself not that great, but quite quiet. 2 very large pools - avoid the lower one in the morning if you want peace and quiet, due to the water aeerobics being blasted out of the tannoy. Our stay at Valamar Tamaris was everything prior reviews had us expecting (fun for kids, pretty, good food), save one surprise which slightly soured our experience. I would have to agree with the other reviews - we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel (and we are very picky). Comfortable, clean, many options (bikes, kayaks, fitness club), well above-average food, and so on.
