Wife and I rented apartment in this complex in early summer. Prefect holiday. Hotel food, service and facilities excellent. No sandy beaches is the down side of Croatia but we could fault noting else about our entire stay. more

Diamant is part of Valamar group, Croatian upscale hotel group. Its hotels are mostly 4*, but really 4* hotels- with some characteristics of 5* hotel- food first of all. Nice wellness, great food, comfty rooms. Great hotel for summer vacation, among best hotels in Istria (with some other Valamar hotels). more

We really enjoyed a weeks stay here last July. The rooms are spacious with mini bar, great shower and private balcony. There was always plenty of choice at dinner with excellent service, drinks an average price for this type of hotel. The setting of the hotel is very pleasant, there are childrens activities set amongst the trees and easy access... more

after selecting Porec , I settled on The Diamant after reviews on here and other sites. Yes, as others say, it looks like an office block but the hotel is great value. Food is excellent, rooms are very clean and staff are helpful. Nice pool too!. Daughter had a great time either in the pool or in the rock pools.... more

Clearly a very different place in the autumn than the summer. Being retired we very much enjoyed the autumn break with a slower pace of life and not all of the beach activities operating. Very good food and drink in the hotel, and friendly staff. Good-sized room. In desperate need of a summer break, but not wanting to be stuck with a beach and nothing else to do we chose Porec as it allowed us to visit other destinations easily enough when sun bathing lost its allure!
