My husband & I recently spent two wonderful nights at Hotel Mauro.Great location in the heart of Porec, walking distance within the old town. We were greeted by Tony outside who welcomed us and quickly had our car taken to the parking area a few blocks down. We were upgraded without reason on the seaview side. Rooms were modern, spacious... More

Hotel is centrally located in Porec and a couple of blocks away from the UNESCO site Euphrasian Basilica, which was our primary purpose for visiting Porec. The room was an upper floor room with a balcony view of the bay. The room amenity is good and so is the breakfast. We went in late spring, so noise wasn't a problem... More

What do we really want from a hotel? We want it to be comfortable, clean, peaceful, in a great location with great views, easy to get to and near to local amenities. We want value for money, great service, a good breakfast and good facilities. The Mauro has all of the above in spades. However this is not what makes... More

After a tough 3 days cycling this was a very comfortable place to relax our tired bodies. Spacious, clean, big bed and high tech lighting. The staff were very helpful with storing our bikes and information. Just a couple of weird things... Bring an eye mask, once the main lights are off the little blue lights for all the high... More

A true boutique hotel that we found this morning for an overnight stay on the Croatian Adriatic Coast as we bring our small road trip to an end. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel's envelope is an old building whose interior was gutted and thoroughly refurbished in today's minimalist, glossy style. The polished marble everywhere - the... More

The most important attribute of a boutique hotel is the staff: Hotel Mauro's staff were helpful to a fault, extremely friendly, and very efficient (special thanks to Tony and Elinore). The location, right on the harbor, and steps away from the old city, can;be beat. The rooms are modern and well designed. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Try it, you'll... More

First time I visited this hotel year ago, just grew on me instantly because everything I been told over the phone and what I`ve read online was as it was written, and very often this not the case. Location is simply perfect, right in the centre, rooms are cozy, bed is great and most importantly clean with one of the best... More

Very old "casa" thoroughly refurbished with high attention to detail. Just 20-room size of property. Located on the riva of Poreć and just at the edge of the old town. Very comfortable rooms, especially the ones on the top floor with wide views of the town or (even better) to the port and sea. Super relaxing, wide beds. Wooden floor.... More

Most friendly staff, always at their top to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, helpful with every need. Comfortable rooms that are very clean and well appointed, though rather small. The only negative, and a big mistake by the interior designer, is the bathroom sink... stupid you might think but how can you wash your face or shave with... More

We regretedly only stayed one night at this hotel. It is located in an area that has restricted car access and guests can park on the street. Hotel and rooms are very nice and in well kept. Staff is very nice and attentive. We ate at the restaurant and the food and service are excellent. The hotel is very well... More
