Location is great for visiting Plitvice Lakes. The hotel is your basic old National Park quality hotel with no coffee maker. The door has an old style key latch. We had trouble with getting the door to unlock from inside and calls to the front desk went unanswered. No air conditioning, no room safe. Breakfast served was pretty mediocre.

The hotel has them most closest entrance to the park. Its a basic hotel but you have everything you need. Wifi connection wasn't great. Also, some staff were extremely rude. We asked one of the staff members to find out the cost of getting to the bus station, instead they called the taxi right there and then. We asked them... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights ,I was a bit hesitant after some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised , check in was very swift the reception staff exceptional ,the hotel is huge and full of coach groups but that didn't disturb us in anyway as long as you time it right there was no wait for... Somewhere down below is a very entertaining review which I read the night before our stay at this hotel. Comments were made about the "K-Mart 50's decor". It was with trepidation we approached our visit. But... we found this a delightful hotel in all respects. The rooms were rather "country" in their styling, but this is a lodge in the... More

At 100 Euros a night for a simple double room we expected a bit of a 'treat'. But it was just a travel lodge style corporate room. Faceless and actually a bit grotty in the bathroom. The location is perfect but that should be obvious by the 1 minute walk to the park entrance. Expect coaches to deposit their passengers... More

We stayed at Hotel Jezero for one night on a bus tour which included Plitvice Lakes. It was wonderful to climb up the last 300+ steps from the valley, and find a comfortable, pleasant room awaiting us. The room was of a good standard, with everything we wanted. The hotel did a great job of feeding the large number of... More

The good points first. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll from Entrance 2 to the park and the rooms are large and comfortable. Staff are friendly, albeit harassed. The bad points are that its huge, dated , soulless and exists to cater for large tour groups whose leaders routinely butt in when you're speaking to staff as they consider... More

Being right on the edge of the National Park is this hotel's selling point. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a great view into the park. Staff were helpful but at times rushed off their feet. This is a big hotel filled with a large number of tour groups who at times do not respect others rights.... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. Yes, the hotel decor is a bit dated, but the hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. I also had a balcony overlooking the park/lakes and it was very enjoyable to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine. I found it very comfortable and mostly... More

This hotel is average but perfect location for visiting the Plitvicka Lakes as they are right out your front door. The bar prices were average and the view from the windows was right out to the National park - amazing. You can hear bears from here at night! The rooms were basic but clean and had everything you need. The... More
