This place is a tourist hotel for want of a description with many tour groups using the place. It's clean and our room was a suite with a bed and lounge room. All in all it's comfortable. The plumbing is basic and works. If you are not expecting 5 star then you will be satisfied. Food is basic but satisfactory.... More

Older hotel, plenty of rooms. Fairly basic but worth it for the location. Walking distance to the boats and start of lakes. If you want to be in the National Park, except the minor faults and utilise this hotel.

The hotel is nice and clean, old and average. The food is not world class, or region class at all, but the prices is ok and service acceptebal. If there is one thing this hotel has, its the right location. 100m from the entrance and you can get your ticket stamped for more free days at the park. Respekt. this... More

This is probably your best bet in Plitvice - it has the best location of any hotel for seeing the parks (has its own special entrance for hotel guests only which is a two minute walk from the hotel). It's old, dated, ugly, not necessarily well-maintained, but then again it's pretty cheap so you can't expect too much and it... More

I stayed at this hotel as a stopover while travelling down to the Dalmatian Coast from Zagreb by car. We had a family room which was a double and a single bed for my 17yr old daughter (I think it will be her last trip with us!) The hotel was basic but clean and the staff were friendly. What really... Nice hotel in the middle of the forest. ....it is rated as a 3 star hotel....so it is what it is....no a/c....super small showers....basic room....but it is what you would expect for a 3 star hotel......I prefer nicer but came here on a tour group...no choice! Very close for seeing the nearby waterfalls.

We stayed here in June as part of an Insight bus trip. The stay was only for one night.. This large modest hotel was built during the communist ers and the hotel building and drab colour scheme refects that era. Nevertheless the hotel offers comfortable rooms with ours on the ground floor having a small balcony with nice parkland views.... More

If you are looking for bells and whistles, this is not the hotel for you. As our brilliant guide explained: "It's a state property. They tend to overlook the updating." We didn't expect much, but really, the hotel is IN the National Park. Our room was clean, with a working bathroom with a hair dryer, and when we opened the... More

We recently had a two-day stay at the Hotel Jezero as part of a bus tour of Croatia. The staff members were polite and efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a well-stocked souvenir shop within the complex, as well as an ATM. Being in such a great location, the hotel is a popular place for groups... More

The location is brilliant for access to the Plitvice Lakes, which lets face it, is why people come here. You get the feeling they know this and that they therefore have a 'captive audience' so to speak. The rooms are very dated and basic and we found the dining room was not much better, catering for the masses, rather than... More
