We stayed in hotel for a wedding and had very nice time. Staff was excellent, they were very professional and charming. Dinner and breakfast were also first rate. Only problem were noise levels during sleep time, since cathedral was close and we could hear bells ringing whole night. Our room was in backyard pension so we didn't have problem with... More

The overall feel of this small hotel is understated, calm and very classic befitting its age and traditions. It could be in Vienna in Salzburg. The buffet breakfast is very good with decent sized plates and large juice glasses for a change. The staff are excellent and were completely understanding when I had to leave a day early. Unfortunately many... More

This hotel is very pretty with architecture from the arts and crafts time period. Rooms are spacious comfortable and clean with amenities such as whirlpool tubs in some rooms. Some rooms have small balconies and views overlook the courtyard. Free internet throughout the hotel was appreciated. The cellar Resturant was not open during our stay but we did eat at... More

They treat you very well.Ask you how will you have coffee. large rooms, wifi and you get what you want before you ask. Air conditioner is very noisy and can not be turned off during night. On top, Waldinger caffe had some kind of night drilling, beating with hammer. So if zou are looking for good night sleep, do not go in Waldinger.

Dear Mrs. Ines, we are very sorry that your stay at our hotel was such a negative experience. Unfortunately, the adaptation of the café, which is an integral part of the hotel, should be completed during the month of August, but, due to delays some of the contractors, works are extended to the September. Because of the efforts to put... More

The sign on the road leading into Osijek lists 5 hotels with arrows pointing in various directions. Happily, none of the hotels are a Hyatt, a Hilton or a Holiday Inn. The Hotel Waldinger is what I envisage a small, excellent European hotel to be, and indeed they claim to have won an award recently as the best small hotel... More

Good people watching spot in the centre of the city, couldn't believe how much cake two small ladies could stow away but they finished the lot. We limited ourselves to coffee - the best of the week - and what we thought was toast but turned out to be a ham and cheese toasted sarnie for only £1. Helpful staff,... More

Nice hotel in centre of Osijek handy for the river and tram. Good size room, very clean with nice touches of fresh fruit, bathrobes and bedtime chocolate. What really makes this hotel is the service. Reception were friendly and excellent at arranging taxis and helping with all enquiries. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of fruits, breads, meats, cheeses and... More

We had a very pleasant dining expirience at restaurant Wldinger Club. Menu has a huge variety of meals, both from the meat and fish. The food was carefully prepared and the taste of it...heaven. But the thing that made my visit memorable was the professional service of Mr D.Kuric with the help of Mr Janos. He helped us with the... More

The hotel is located in the centre of the new city next to the famous cathedral and also close to the river. Although it was built in classical style, it's completely renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but beds are not the best. Breakfast offers a wide range of food. Parking in also available in the yard or in... More
