The Hotel Lav is in a great location in Makarska. It is close to all amenities and some lovely restaurants without being in the hussle of the market area. We stayed at the Hotel Lav for 4 nights in June. The Hotel is easy enough to find, we caught the bus from Split to Makarska and as you enter Makarska on the main road, you see a sign for Hotel Lav, it is about a 15 minute walk back along the main road from the main bus station. Just... more
Very nice hotel located at the beach, helpful staff. It has less than 30 rooms so it is very peaceful. Restaurant offers local food and seafood mainly. This hotel was built in 2005 and is spotless. Every single member of staff we encountered couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were lovely, with really impressive showers.
